Not sure what you mean, but I'll have a guess. Under the Exit button in the main menu, there is a square with a circle in the middle. Click on that and it takes you to photo mode. Then follow the onscreen instructions to adjust the picture and use F11 to take a screenshot.

Davide, i am unsure about your explanation (still a noob, lol)...
i often use the circle in square symbol to go to the viewer, and i use this for screenshots, but there are no options to change anything, the only option available is 'Done'
so, all i see is the bike and rider, there is no background of any sort. is there some setting i am unaware of to change it?

There is a folder in GP-bikes with the background. If you don't have it just create one. Folder structure like this:
gpbikes\misc\bg
Then download this file (bg.map) https://mega.co.nz/#!mElWWCYQ!dQkgnGJoiquYoK40rAod2CxuTRoMEeUvbMbyNFSV22k (https://mega.co.nz/#!mElWWCYQ!dQkgnGJoiquYoK40rAod2CxuTRoMEeUvbMbyNFSV22k) and place it in the bg-folder. Should be all good to go after that. Start GP-bikes and enjoy your garage. ;)

The garage is part of a 'theme' Mod, BatmansCape. Difficult to find a link on the forum to be fair.
Start here http://forum.piboso.com/index.php?topic=1555.0 and beware what you use and keep one eye out for any changes to your game stability. Not saying there will be but....be mindful is all I say.
As David suggests just the background image may be all of the Mod you want/need.
