Thursday - Server will be GPBOC 2.
19.00CET Event 8
20.30CET Server Master-reset - Whitelist in force - Unofficial Practice Starts
21:00CET Official Practice Starts - everyone requested to be on server BEFORE qually starts
21:15CET Qualifying starts - minimum chat rule
21.30CET RACE (18 (tbc) LAPS NO WARMUP LAP) - minimum chat rule
A PRACTICE SERVER will be open (GPBOC 2 | Club Event 8 ) - it is not linked to the Best Laps Server.
Like me, you WILL need to practice, practice, practice if possible.
Remember to send any Bike or Helmet Skins to Matty as soon as possible. It would be nice to see people using the Club jacket for this event HERE (http://forum.piboso.com/index.php?topic=2456.0).

This bike is so stable and easy to ride round here even I have hopes of completing a full race without a fall 8)

btw, even though i've not been partaking in races yet due to my crappy connectivity, i've been following the club races, and racing the relevant bike/track in offline mode while you guys get on with the real deal.
currently, i'm sitting in the low 1m40's with lap times, and i see a good time around here is 1m24/25s......
i can still make up a few seconds just on better lines, but but i don't see how to make such times, unless someone who is running with a good time, say anything around 1m30 or better, is willing to share a setup with me?

I agree with Matty...... My best time in the past is around the same(1:33's). Okay I haven't raced on Victoria much because I don't particularly like the track, but it will be interesting now I have a lot more experience how I get on after some practice(not had any practice as yet. Lol). :P ;D

Bad race for me after my mistake, the tires have lost all grip, it took me a lot of laps to return to drive normally, I hope that sooner or later these bugs are corrected >:(
But I do not think will ever happen...
At least I got pole and fastest lap in the race ... little consolation :-\

After the 1st lap crash the bike turned into a possessed Demon. Maybe the forks get bent so that is realistic ;D Bug report submitted.
But on a positive note three amazing things happened for me:
1. I was competitive
2. I enjoyed the race despite the 'possession'.
3. I finished on the podium!

So I'm saying "Woohoo!" 8)
Shame not many sign up here and even less can make it on the day. I guess the game is in a bad place just now. :(

Exactly the same thing happened to me too(tyres just well overheating after a crash for some reason)...... Also had many crashes were the bike just rolled on and on and on and ON!
We desperately need Beta 7 Piboso! ;)

I think maybe ten rounds of the GP800 will be enough. Wasn't really expecting to get this far (well maybe at two per week but not now), and I did promise a 2 stroke champ next..........

First core I have had in a long time too. And triggered when I switched to replay just as someone (you) was crashing?
As we said earlier mate if the track had been dynamic still then it would of been a really good (secret) test ;)
pity i missed the race, sounds like it could've been fun, although i'm still only sitting with a best lap time of 1m36, and a theoretical best of only 1m33, so i need a LOT more practice on this track.
what is pissing me off, though, is my 'random' connection issues, seemingly happens whenever there is an event, lol - i had no problem getting on the server even less than an hour before the race, but then suddenly i couldn't connect, for whatever unknown reason, for the rest of the evening.
this morning, randomly joined a server, and am now getting back in with no problems again. wonder if my ping is partially to blame?
anyway, to aid my lap time improvement, and also for some screenshots, i am keen to see a replay of the race... 8)
Sorry I couldn't be there Nick. I got home very late... And do not be feel discouraged by the bad attendance - it is summer ;) If you plan to make more events with the Murasama I would be glad to join. How about a Brno race - always nice races on that track ;)
Capedoc - yes it is strange I can only assume your ping is the problem once there are quite a few on the server already. The only thing is we used to get a few Aussie guys who could join OK but racing was too bad. I joined your server with a ping of 250 which was better than I thought it would be.
Stout - no worries. I'm sure we can do another one I like Brno on a bike that doesn't wash out all the time ;)
