Well not sure but it wouldn't end well for the Mrs..
We're well above the price of a very decent *real* bike ... so that's not an option for me (unless I already have 5 bikes in my garage).
But below the price of a range of vehicles such as bikes, rally cars, f1 cars and a fighter jet! ;D
A motorbike version of this would be so realistic
that you even have to change the fork seals after a certain hours of riding. 3 in fact. Good practice I guess?

NO car or bike makes that amount of movement in real life!!! Everyone get suckered in with all these over exaggerated monstrosities that are NOT replicating ANYTHING realistically. These are the typical "The more it move the more real it is" and "Lets make it ultra technical to make people think we know what we are doing" bunch who might be serious about it BUT it is NOT in ANYWAY realistic!!!
Sorry, but it is this type of system that misguides people wanting something that moves. Try actually racing in one of those for an hour and more!!! Bet they DONT do it because the body wont put up with that for too long.
Sorry for the negative input guys but this shit is so fake and a waste of money. Go get a CXC system that actually works.

With your eyes concentrated on the view in the screen those exaggerated platform movements are to simulate the G-Forces from actions like hard acceleration, braking and cornering plus any back end slides etc, etc.... 6DOF Simulation platforms work on actually tricking your mind with a combination of G-force movements knowing your brain is seeing the view on the screen(that's what fools the mind), The platform is not actually simulating steering wheel inputs as such. ;)

I know what your saying Hawk, but the fact still remains that the over exaggeration to replicate G-Force only works to a certain point, then because the actual movement is being exaggerated the body soon realizes it and starts to dislike it. These are the systems that make you physically sick TRYING to replicate mother nature but while doing so they inert false movement and eventually, sickness!!!
Who wants 5 mins of fun and then feel sick for gods sake? Go to the fairground and do it lol.
My point is the waste of money put into these things that then dont work properly and the way the people fob them off to the world with false statements and so many untruths about them. Dont get me wrong, I take my hat off to them for trying, but most of them really are guys who think more is better when in reality it is not. Dare I say it but its an American thing. Lived there 18 years and man I saw some BS lol.
My point is also, who can afford them. Every time I see a system like this its all about the guy being better than the last. Next thing you know it will be 100 DOF needs a 100 square foot room so its gotta feel REAL blah blah blah
I hope some day to finish my 7 DOF system for a bike simulator as thats how many it needs, but it will take a long time to get it to feel right and not cost the earth.
If Radical Simulation finally do this properly then we might see some thing realistic in the next year.
I guess its me being a bit protective towards you guys and saying "Son that is the devil, stay away its wrong" I just wish I had a way to give us all what we really want.
