Title: A couple of laps with EDTracker
Post by: h106frp on April 04, 2016, 12:19:13 AM
Promised to do it ages ago but for anyone still curious this is a couple of laps with EDTracker in helmet cam mode just to hopefully demonstrate how you can get used to not always having the bike as a fixed point of reference and how smooth the tracking is for a low cost solution :)

Brilliant H!!!

I cant wait to ride that bike man. It has so much life in it.

Have you tried using EdTracker to see if it works for body movement in GPB, ie, is it recognized if you assign it to body movement and not look?

DD

PS: I would be very happy to make a Sneak Peak video for you...............HINT HINT

Hi DD,
I have not tried it, but i cannot see why it would not work - it just appears as another joystick axis that you can assign however you like - the vid is using the GPB built in head look joystick view mode, the response profile is adjusted in the EDtracker interface quite easily.

I am still waiting for some input from PB about BikeED and setting the rear suspension - you would not believe how bizarre the back end of the bike looks in 3P at the moment  :o  I still need to re-model the 3P bike to add the lights to match the 1P and improve some other details as well.
