Title: Norisring V0.5 Core offline
Post by: doubledragoncc on April 28, 2016, 07:31:04 PM
Hi Hawk thought I would report a very bad core every time almost on the last hairpin. It is on the right and practically half way across the track almost like a crack ACROSS the track not along the edge. It is as you are cranked over and about to bring the bike back up so almost coming out of the corner. I will try to get a pic for you if I can without a core lol. It happened to me 8 times in 10 laps. Not been offline as not in the mood anymore. Thought it best to report mate.

Experienced the same with the V0.4. No way to practice offline with that problem.

But hey DD, get online and practice! don't hide your times mate! :P

Iam not in the mood for dealing with stupid people right now mate. That saga made me mad. I dont care about the place its how he handled it and I am not someone he wants to start treating like dirt.

I will be on sometime or other.

No worries mate, i was just online did a few laps test but was not in the mood for much more than that either. But yeah i mean i am not on any of your sides, but would have been easier in my opinion to just leave it and then show the pace next race instead. Now the track should be fixed too so we don't get those missing laps, i had one and just told about, didn't care about the win or not, it is just for fun! I knew i did a good race and that is what matter :)

Soon you are on the mood to be online with us again and show how to ride those bikes smooth and consistent laps :)

I've just had a good look in TrackED at were you pinpointed the crack: I can see it mate... It's BIG(as in long) and extends right across and through the whole circuit.... I'll see what I can do.  ;)

Thanks for the feedback and report DD. Appreciated mate!  ;) 8)

Great news Hawk. Yeah its big. BH posted a vid where his bike actually hung there like mine but my system crashed so no recording of it.

Its the ONLY spot so would be cool if fixed.

Thanks for the work bro.

Could not exactly miss it but BH did find it too as his video shows. I thought it was a crack to the right of the corner until I tried to sneak past it on the left and ould not lol

Lol!  ;D
I actually deleted the old version because I clearly put up a warning to view your replays before replacing with the new version. I can't win! Hehe.  ;D
My fault I guess for not sticking to my routine of putting previous versions in the "Older Versions" folder, but I wanted to start to save space on MEGA as there is only 50GB of free space available and I'm getting into the last quarter use of that space so I've got to start only saving what is current very soon.  :)

Anyway.... I'm uploading the V0.5 version which I changed the file names back to V0.4 for you DD..... Not sure it will work, but it may? Let me know how you get on as I have another option which would be to download the version that is already in the "Old Versions" folder and changing the file names to "Nosiring V0.4_NDS"; that should work for sure I believe.  ;) 8)

Here is a direct download link for this renamed Nosiring track. Let me know if it works please mate.  ;) 8)

Yep its the German Grand Canyon lol.

Do you think it effects timing at all? I mean if it causes a bike to hang there it must be doing something with the timing too or not. Wot do I know lol.

I am sure it fecks with the timing as all that weird stuff must have an affect. I notice that just round turn 1 it always says I am about 7 seconds up on my previous sector time then it evens out over the rest of the lap.

Sommat is up but as far as sector times, penalties , centrelines and pit and grid stuff it all looks Ok. Maybe closing the gaping chasm will help. I can't work out how to do that despite much farting around just yet. But I am sure Hawky will sort it  ;D

If can help, my final lap in race 2 was my best (i think 55) but after race i have see in the laps list was 1:06  :o

P.S. Was a clear lap.

That timing issue happens on other tracks too: Monza for example, on sector timing goes nuts very often (it seem to be taken not always at the same spot), even if on Monza the overall lap ties seems to stay correct. I'm sure I did a post (with clear explanations, video and all) somewhere.
