I didn't see the rider operating the throttle or clutch while changing gears....... Have they some sort of auto gear changing system on it?
Hawk.

You can safely welcome him to year 2000, maybe even to the 90's ... I can't even remember what the first quickshifter came out :)
I did some programming work for one of the original 'Quickshift' units and used the cash to buy fancy bits for a Pentium90 if that helps date it ;D

So 90's was accurate :)
You can't tell me that a device like that isn't taking away from the soul of racing a motorbike surely? It's just another example of why racing today cannot be compared to the skills of the riders of the past..... This is just another example of a device that takes away part of a riders skills in the name of better gear change efficiency. PHffff!! :P ;D
They'll be bringing in auto-lean next so that the rider can never over-extend the grip of the tyres! LOL..... I suppose you'll all agree with that too and be telling me welcome to the year 2025 Hawk! Hehe! ;D

Billions of dollars in development and they still can't find a camera that doesn't pick up more wind noise than engine sound. That video was great until he hit 2nd gear and above. ::)
lol ;D true
hopefully they will have a better mic setup once they start doing fast laps with the bike.
