That´s very possible, it was so long ago.
YAY! Put a No CD file in directory and now it works. Thanks for your help buddy
That´s right, NO CD!!! :o I also used a physics Mod. I think you can still find it on the interweb. ;)
Yes I did get it working on Windows 7 as well 8). Definitely don't enable crossfire or SLI as that ruins things
Is it possible to Run it in win7 64Bit.?
Tried different compatibility modes but can't install the Game. Autoinstaller loads to 99% and then nothing Happens...
Using original cd.
I think i got it working in the end but do not remember having that problem. As i remember the "XP patch" was critical to start it up and crossfire and sli are a big NO NO but for the rest i can't think of anything else.
Think i got that patch from a site calle nogripracing.com but am not sure. Am on the phone right now so a bit hard to check it for you
I've got the Patch....but i struggle on install of the Game. The installer loads up to 99% and nothing Happens anymore.
Try copying the cd on your hard drive and then run the installer in compatibility mode.
It often works with old games ;)
Hello all,

Sometimes i can choose the language for install and thereafter the install crashs....weired.
I will try the 16bit this evening.

Hello I dont know who you are :P but yes, i am from REG forum.

Anyway this place looks much better (mature) to me.
If having trouble in Windows 7, usually for home computing, try disabling UAC (user account control) and rebooting.
Start > Search > UAC > ENTER
Slide the bar all the way down and hit OK, then reboot.
You might also want to give your user account full ownership of the C:\ (and all subfolders) as ownership defaults to "TrustedInstaller" which I find can cause a lot of problems.
Start > Computer
Right Click on C:\ > Properties
Click on the Security tab
Click on Advanced (near the bottom)
On the new window that just popped up, click on the Owner tab
Current owner is most likely Trusted Installer
Click on Edit
In the bottom pane (Under "Change owner to:") click on your windows username.
Check the box underneath "Replace owner on subcontainers and objects"
Click OK, and get a coffee or something as this can take a few minutes
Click yes on prompts asking to give yourself permisson to change the ownership. There may be a few access denied errors. Also, disable your AV before doing this unless you want repetitive stress disorder.
