Title: Assen no bump
Post by: RBp on February 11, 2014, 09:31:33 PM
Was getting pi$$ed off with assen first corner crashing every other lap trying to practice for this weekends race, so decided to smooth it out, Can push as hard as you like into the first corner now with out fear of crashing.

Great job man, any chance of fixing Laguna Seca or our Old Barcelona? The old Barcelona is probably one of the best tracks we have, but on some parts unridable for some people.

Barcelona might be possible, I don't have max file for laguna seca, Really got to finish adding more models to portimao and fix the 4 tracks I released so the 125 can get round them.

Hi RBp,

there seems to be an issue with assen, the track groove does not build up.

dibu explained why here: http://forum.piboso.com/index.php?topic=739.msg7424#msg7424 (http://forum.piboso.com/index.php?topic=739.msg7424#msg7424)

Can you have a look ?

Groove build-up is really important: if there's in deed a problem can you check for it on your other tracks ?

Thanks !

MaX.

Hi RBp, can you also have a look at these tracks?
Brno GP, Johor, Albacete, Portimao and Edmonton also have no surface. Folenbray and Prince Gorge circuit are ok.

Hi RBp,

there seems to be an issue with assen, the track groove does not build up. EDIT: it builds up but is not shown, thx dibu for the explanation.

Thx RBp.

But you can take your time, maybe whenever you need to do a new release.
As the only problem is the groove not being visible (but it does build up) it's probably not extra urgent.

Hmm, it seems to be not the case, as confirmed by Piboso: http://forum.piboso.com/index.php?topic=739.msg7567#msg7567 (http://forum.piboso.com/index.php?topic=739.msg7567#msg7567)

So surface generation is indeed mandatory.
