Title: Texture animations on .edf
Post by: RiccoChicco on March 28, 2014, 02:54:34 PM
Hi!

I'd like to know if it's possible to add texture animations on .edf like on .map. It could be interesting for bikes!  :)

What would you use it for?

In my case it was to animate a part of a helmet, but nothing important.

But I thought it might be useful to have "warning lights" (don't know the best english term for this) in rainy conditions, like in MotoGP :

Of course in that case it should be controlled (on/off) by the player, something a little annoying, I can understand  :-[

The game knows when it rains/when it's wet so it could automatically activate the animated textures. A warning light would be a nice little detail :D
