So been trying to do videos of my BMU (body motion unit) but having trouble with steam for days, but finally got a better one made. Parts 4 is just to show it but part one really explains it so here is part 4.
Dont judge my riding I am burnt out from the agro I have had with steam and just wanted to get a short video out.
Next one will be on my CBR1000RR sit-on with the buttkicker2 and should be fun.

What would you say the difference is between having a separate body tracker from using the VR tracking?
It would obviously be possible to scale better than the VR tracking..
It is a massive difference, you have real control over your rider and it is totally seperate from your head so you get a REAL view not faked. It also affects the bike far better and just feels natural. Combining VR with BMU just brings a new feeling. I have worked so hard to get a natural fell between the 2 sensations and make it easy to adjust to how you feel right with them.
The video really does not show just how good it makes you feel

Not sure I understand the fake view.. To me the view feels ok, but I will try separating the tracking. If you say it's that much better it's worth a try :)
I mean fake as in the VR view is not correct if the rider body is not where it should be.

No offense but the flawed rider lean tracking can be fixed externally through software.
It is annoying to set up initially though.
But then you can create fully custom tracking curves for translating HMD position to rider lean.
Works very well for me and looks pretty smooth.
