Hello,
i have a big problem:
I tried many things working with other tracks i made, and no one works on laguna seca, the starting lights don't work.
I have a texture for each light, as it is explained in piboso track rules, i have a txt files for each texture with the name and "on" added.
i have tried with alpha and without alpha, with and without alpha premultiplier, i took the same textures as in mosport(it works) and the same txt files.
Please help me, please, that's the last thing to finish the track.
It is very tiresome because for a so little thing i must re export all the track and it takes about 20minutes long.
Please and thank you.
PS: i passed more than 4 hours this night only for that and i want to put my pc through the window.
For example:
green start light
texture name: Starting_LightG_Off
text file name: Starting_LightG_Off
inside text file: Starting_LightG_On
is it right?
I don't know very much how to do it but why not :
Green start light
Texture name : Starting_LightG_On
Text file name; Starting_LightG_On
Inside text file: Starting_LightG_On
How to do by piboso:
Starting Lights
Each light surface must be mapped with a texture using the following names:
Start red light 1 : Starting_LightR1_Off.tga
Start red light 2 : Starting_LightR2_Off.tga
Start red light 3 : Starting_LightR3_Off.tga
Start red light 4 : Starting_LightR4_Off.tga
Start green lights : Starting_LightG_Off.tga
Pit red light : Pit_LightR_Off.tga
Pit green light : Pit_LightG_Off.tga
Then a TXT file must be created with the same name of the texture ( and placed in the same directory ), with the name of the ON texture in the first line.
Im not sure the lights and other animation are working with this beta,
It works, i tested mosport and it worked.
Solution found:)
Jc has sended me his light systeme and i saw what i did wrong.
For example:
green start light
- a texture applied on 3d model of no lighting with this name Starting_LightG_Off
- a texture not applied on 3d model of lighting with this name Starting_LightG_On
- a text file named as Starting_LightG_Off countaining this: Starting_LightG_On
I don't understand why without this configuration it works on some tracks.
Thanks JC and thanks Capeta.
