Title: Motion Rig
Post by: WooDPecker on June 30, 2022, 07:44:04 PM
Hi all,

I wann to start my Simulator project but I have one problem, maybe you can help me.

At first some key features what i want to do.

I want to build a Simulator which can handle on the roll axis more than 60 degrees.

For the body movements i will work with some sensors or with my vr glass whatever better works.

For all inputs like the throttle, brake, clutch and so on i think it is not a big deal.

The pitch angle is not hard to simulat aswell, but the main thing what i can not figure out is, which data can i use when i drive into a corner and the rear brakes out, because the data of the yaw axis is in my opinion the wrong one.

Thank you guys!

That's a whole lot of lean! :D It'll be a good workout for both motors and rider.

I find the yaw acceleration does a pretty good job:

Thanks!
I got them from SimuKit in Belgium. I believe he buys directly from the Chinese supplier, sunrise motors.
They are not very good. Leaking and looots of backlash, I'll look for something different next time.
