Dont know the track, drove like 10 laps found it fun so thought try a quick race.
So im not familiar with track issues, other then that its very shiny :P

Edit
Been driving some 15 laps now and the track surface is great 100% drive-able.
Not having a No Dynamic Surface version bothers me a bit for the race, might get ugly.
But there are also some reset issues on weird places, no walls in places which will give a core.exe.

This means that i will let snetterton server run for today and you guys need to give me some feedback about any
other problems you find when testing it.

After that i will decide if we continue with Snetterton, or that i will replace it with another fine British track ;)

PS: i asked RBP for changing the problem of his track and i'm waiting.

Hello,
I received a reply from RBP about snetterton.
He can't do something now, to much work on other things.
He will do when he will have time.

One more thing:
We don't have a record of our laptime so i propose to post here or in another thread our progression during days before the race?
My best lap, yesterday was 1.07...

i did some laps this morning.. all was good! only problem i had, i crashed on the last chicaine and when i reset the bike it put me in the middle of the pitlane wall!

no core.exe's and track feels great, hopefully it will go smoothly.. if not.. oh well  ;)

Ha! Yeah I will need to catch up a bit to stay competitive.
Been at the World's rc bike in Sweden all this time. I found I wasn't very competitive there neither! Must finally be turning into an old fart after all.

Hey Peter, the new bike was great, it just probably didn't suit the track. (that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!)
I qualified 9th, but put into pole in the 2nd group (normally 10 each) and had a good race at this level, finished first after a race long and very tense 30 minute scrap with a German guy. My bike cut during fuel stop, and 20 seconds before the finish it ran out of fuel! But still won. I am happy enough with 9th overall, just couldn't go any faster. The skill of the top drivers was just just amazing.

1/5 Arvoss. Most modern nitro bikes have large tanks, 16-20 mins on one tank now so only 1 pit stop required.
We don't use a safety car ::) that was a demo during lunchbreak of a fast high voltage electric car.

No need for ktm, only need GP500 and or GP1000 class.
Just tested it i deleted all other bikes besides the 500 and 1000 and it connects fine.

The same BOB.

I start when the number is 00.00.
I think wait after 00.00 !

It's crazy and it's bad disqualified for this for the warm up lap.

Yeah I got a jump start while there was still 30 seconds to go..... I wondered if I was out of sync or something?

Anyway I stayed online and watched the full race on Live replay.... There was only about 4 or 5 riders left after the start so most riders spaced out on there own, but Janau and loopa had a good battle. :D

Shame so many got jump starts or Disq at the start otherwise I think the racing would've been much closer. But that's the way it goes sometimes, but will be interesting to see what Peter can determine happened at the start from the server logs.  ;)

But well done Janau, you were under pressure at the end there from Loopa but for some reason Loopa decided to head-butt the hairpin barrier on the final lap. Sorry Loopa but that was quite funny LOL  ;D

lots of jumpstarts i see, shame really.
Reminds me not too disable chat, if it is disabled i also cant read any messages.
But i have an idea for that, i think :P

Race went oke otherwise no core.exe at all.  Most of us had a lonely race though, just defending our own position.
Janaucarre 1, Loopateli 2 and good old PeterV 3th.
Results will follow shortly as is the replay.

well done guys!

loopatelli did you not win? you were flying man!!

ps. green flag was waving! everybody infront of me moved away before me! (on my screen) so im not sure if it was my error or not?
not to worry il try again next time.. :P

EDIT: didnt realise i could spectate!  :( i left the lobby..

I didn't get chance to see any green flag. With 30 secs to go I was just completing my grid adjustment  and WHAM! Back to the event info screen I was kicked and it said in the chat window that I jump started. LOL
I also saw in the chat screen that several others got a Jump start at the same time and one was disqualified. Shame because more riders in the event would've made for closer racing.

Because I'm so clever and i decided to go looking for lap times in the last laps. 2 stupid crashes and i said bye to the race.
A big LOL.. xD

Hey guys,
sorry for those who had problems with jump-start. Congrats to all who had a good race and who enjoyed the event.

As you are speaking of jump-starts: We just had a little practice race at the Brno GP1000 server, and we stumbled upon another annoying thing concerning jump-starts. All riders were aligned in the starting grid, except one rider. When this rider came to his marked spot, he also tried to align perfectly on his starting spot. What happened was that he received jump-start penalty while he was still trying to align..... what happened was, that while trying to align, for a split-second he obviously was in his designated starting area and was in a stand-still (for a split second while trying to adjust his position walking the bike) - so the starting procedure went on right away. As he was not aware he had inadvertantly triggered the starting procedure, he still wanted to align himself and was "awarded" with a jump-start penalty.

So all people that want to participate in races need to aware of this. If you are the last to align on the grid, YOU will be the one who will trigger the starting procedure. So when coming to a stand-still within the designated starting box you must not move anymore antil green light starts the race.

It is not really a bug, as technically it works ok. But for the sake of realism and for letting people adjust their starting position it needs to be sorted. I will also report it in the suggestions area.

Thank you guys, it was a good race:)
I don't know when i pass Loopatelli for the last time, until the last lap i thought was 2nd.
Loopatelli, you  were very very fast, i don't know your best time but i think 1 second faster than me.
If i falled one or 2 times more you passed m easy:)

Hi Janau.

I was watching live on replay function after I got the jump start, and the best time I saw for Loopa was approx. 45.something seconds for the lap.... VERY FAST!  ;D 8) 8)
But you weren't far behind him all the way, and the last lap was very close until the hairpin when Loopa fell at the hairpin straight after you did. Lol  ;D

@Peter: I've reviewed the replay at the start, and I and others were adjusting our grid positions when the start sequence countdown started. The problem was that I know I looked at the time left before start before I started to adjust my grid position and there was plenty of time left, but I was busy adjusting my position when the start sequence timer set off so I didn't notice that it had started the sequence, and it only gives about 5 seconds once the sequence starts.
So yes.... I think if Piboso could add a routine so that everyone has to be settled for at least 5 seconds before the start sequence commences then that would solve this problem.  :)

Either that or allow the server admin to set a time(as most tracks take different times to get around from pit exit to starting grid) to get around to the start grid and have the competitors settled on the grid so everyone knows that time is final?

Maybe a audio sound could play like a air horn sound to give you a good warning.

I forgot we had a nice wee battle, even though I was a lap down..
