Found these cheap £7.50 the pair and decided to give them a try, green button (was horn) was already momentary push button, red one (was lights) can be modified from latching on/off to momentary - took about 20 minutes to pop back off switch off and cut the spring toggle out. Can be mounted top/bottom - left/right. Original white function captions came off easily with cotton bud and isopopyl
Hopefully will be useable for gear up/down on the lower set, some other functions on top
Not sure what to do with the slide switch which is ON-OFF-ON (was indicators), could possibly replace with mini push buttons or micro-switch rocker, might use as a 'remap' using the diode grid trick.
Seems reasonably made with integral aluminum clamp to lock onto bars.
Nice, not seen these and I'm wondering how thick the bar clamp bit is, got a link please?
Also for foot gear change switches these have done the trick for me and no need to protect the switch physically, they're man enough and cheap.

Got my new levers, but these switches do not clear the thicker bar clamps :( Time to start machining aluminum and make up some proper GP style copies.
These seem a simple and elegant and simple way to add a few buttons using the bar clamps and a bit of plate, these nice short push buttons can be found on ebay for less than a couple of quid each, bought a few and they are very good quality.
