We will have to hope that the MOTO 3 bike authors take note(I cannot imagine they don't know of this problem); this maybe already on their list of "To-Do's" for update? :)

the problem is when you try to shift down if you only use a bit of rear brake (or not using rear brake but the braking is so strong), the bike doesn't shift, so you have to enter into a 1st gear turn in 4rd, and when you stop braking and you are inside the corner you shift down. Is like when the rear tire has not much weight on it the bike does not allow you to shift.
It also happens for me in other mods but in this one is much worst.
Haven't tried yet, but most likely a matter of tuning the DisengageMaxTorque and/or EngageMaxSpeedDiff to be abit more permissive.
Notice however that if the rear is locked (or almost), it's probably normal to be unable to downshift: speeds of the two shaft would bee too different to engage.

Ouch, that would be weird.
I can only think about the timing stuff in the gearbox (DownshiftTime, DisengageTime, ...) to be a bit slow.
Does the problem happen if you downshift not too fast ?

All I know is that when you want to downshift pretty quickly as you approach a corner, it doesn't downshift as quick as you want it to and you end up still in a higher gear than you thought when you come to put power down to exit the corners. It's a real pain, especially on these bikes were keeping good momentum up is vital to a good lap speed.
