I intend to open 2 servers today.
GPBOC 1 with Wet and windy Track Settings - times will upload to Best Laps Server.
GPBOC 2 Dry settings - not connected to Best Laps Server.
You will be able to see the full track name HERE (http://stats.gp-bikes.com/servers.php?sort=name) when they are running.
Report any bugs asap if seen please.
Both Servers are up - the track is not included in the Best Laps server unfortunately so you won't see fastest laps there :(
Just had to raise the track temperature there cos it was un-rideable - thanks Yan.
I think the Curb slipperiness is too much personally but hey avoid the curbs ;)
Oh and its Ducatis only there. All other will return bike not known to server
So if only two of each Ducs are available are we not running out? :P

I'm twitchy for the event to go smooth. Can I ask everyone to try and post a Best Lap on our Wet server when possible to prove you can get on OK, then I can relax a bit. :-\
Also I would suggest a lot of Wet practice is taken if possible. :P

VERY poor driving there, although i don't know the Track. I do between 1:50 and 1:30. But doing a good time means only carrying the bike around the track and crash less as possible. Has not much to do with "racing". 8)

Have a play with yer graphics settings. Looks OK on mine. I don't use too my AA tho
And yes it is hard, but as with all things racing you need to practice practice practice. Come on ???.
I'm not saying I'm good (far from it) but practicing in the wet has made me more sensitive and smoother on the controls and I think it has also improved my Dry skills.
My wife says it has also made me a more sensitive lover :o :P

All settings for me are maxed out in graphics setup, and and reflections look fine for me.

I think until track authors are able to export the spec and normal maps in the exporter this sort of thing will happen. I've looked at the track files and can see that there are no Shader files there, so I can only presume this look is a default wet look for tracks in Monsoon wet conditions.
@ Nick: May help if we
didn't race in Monsoon rain conditions.... Maybe just have light rain so the track gets wet but not saturated like in the pics above?

o air temp (so about 32
otrack temp. So it is already more like a Tropical rainforest out there. Without this the tyres run too cold and difficult to even get to the track! As I said before the curb slipperiness is the major turn off for me. But apart from that I am happy for rain racing.

I've got the latest bike mod and the track appears on the server list so i think i've got the latest version of the track... :-\
I can connect to wet track but get data mismatch on dry track! What's the difference? Apart from the water obviously ::)

Try creating a new 'bike' folder and drop just the Dukes in it.
Rename your original Bike folder first.

I like your theory behind the event, but in reality that would give the Moto2 guys an advantage because the 2 strokes never had engine RPM limiters.... I'm still opting for the GP250 2 stroke bike though(no contest. Hehe). :P ;D

I've got to be honest with you guys..... My fastest lap was achieved when I crashed and slid down the entrance to the pits.... When I reset the bike I was taken to the pits and so it saved me going down the start finish straight. ;D
Oh well.... I had my 5 mins of glory. Hehe ;D ;D :P :P
Love rain races.... but prefer to be on bigger tracks. ;)

My two pence about the wet Race: GPBikes is, by now, a bit of a stressing game, core exes, crashes, strange bike behaviour. At this Point (especially at a small track like mantorp) for me it is too much. To many things to keep care about....
But anyway, i had fun and looking forward to race again with you guys..

For me, this was a horrible race weekend! Couldnt make the GP10 work for me on the too small track in sweden, i like the track more when riding there for real on my 125GP Honda back in 2011 :D
But anyways! Great racing everyone!! And great event once again Nick! Looking forward to next races! :D

Yes there are annoyances and stresses, you are doing very well so far! But the game is Beta and its not easy, if we want an easy finished game then we can Ride. I think we should not hold the problems so high, we know they happen and have been around too long now, so we just accept, adapt and overcome before we all have broken spirits.
The bottom line for me, personally, is if the fun and challenge still outweigh the pain and misery then I will keep racing with hope. ;) I think we are on the same page - your last line seems to agree. See you at the next one bud ;D

Yeah! What i meant with "too much" was only the wet conditions. Personaly i Really like GPBikes. Got very less stress with cores and Stuff and the physics remind me of the MotoGP 2006 mod for motogp2 by beloved aernauts. Is someone here who played the mod 10 years ago?

You are correct it would be nice to see. I would also like smoother and slower options for free-roam camera panning 8)
