Are there any people interested in getting a group together to do some dirt oval racing? If so please post what day and time works best for you.

I want to get a head count of how many people would be interested in racing this Wednesday the 27th at 8:30 PM EST. The track would be DIRT_OVAL_1_BETA and we would run the wingless 360's.
This would just be a fun race to test out the track/sim and build some intetest in the WRS community.

Alright, turns out Wednesday won't work for me.
We will be racing this Thursday the 28th at 8:30 PM EST. We will have 10 minutes of practice, a qualifying session then a 25 lap feature. No heat races. We will be racing at DIRT_OVAL_1_BETA with the wingless 360's.
PM me for the teamspeak address. Teamspeak will not be required for this race.

I should have a practice server up by 8. Might have one up earlier, if I do and I'm not running laps or responding don't worry. I might just be away from the computer for a bit. At 8:30 we will start a new "Race" server so we will start with a fresh track.

When would be a good time for you to race bison? Might be able to schedule the next race when you are available.
Practice server is up. All are welcome. I should be back to the computer in about 45 minutes. The race server will go up ~8:30EST.

Last call!!!! Final practice is starting soon.
I would like to thank those that came out to race tonight. We had bapst33, ditchs14, Fauntleroy16 and myself. We did experience some issues with a user connecting while the track was heavily deformed. I think the next event will just be an organized practice, we did not make it too many laps each time before there was a wreck.
Overall it was fun, but there are definitely some improvements that need to be made to make things a little more racer friendly.

Awesome! Glad you guys got to run some laps. I generally work evenings Sunday through Thurs so only time I could run with y'all is Friday or Saturday nights.

Are you using a wheel or controller ditchs? I was going to send you a setup last night but at points it looked like we were all pretty close. They are tough cars to be consistent with.
im using a g25. it seemed like my car just never hooked on exit. i know this car is all throttle control, i just couldnt get the power down.
I found the setup posted here to be not to my liking at all. Moving all the weight rearward helped me to be a lot smoother. FWIW.
