I firstly want to say sorry to the author(s) of this add-on. I'm ashamed of taking others' works as frame for my mods, but after all my failed attempts on certain tasks, it is just impossible for me to fully achieve my plans at the moment..
As for the mod. It includes:
- Engine map -- 45hp @16000rpm, 25nm @11500rpm.
- Engine settings -- Electronic idle ~2000rpm (had troubles without it), RevLimiter 19000rpm, BreakingRPM 22000rpm.
- Driveline -- 6 front and 6 rear sprocket settings
- Final ratio
- Audio samples from Test Drive Unlimited; please remove this post or links if any legality issue.
It does wheelies quite easily, tops at 193km/h @16800rpm in straight line (tested on Daytona Oval) and has an acceptable torque, in my opinion. Hopefully someone will enjoy it, and don't hesitate to report any flaw. Thanks for reading!

Still no model yet, sorry... Trying my best to learn as much as possible in many computer science domains, including 3D modeling.
Oh my god, i love that mod :)
And the engine sound is from Test drive unlimited?
Very good modification :)
bgierlach
Great MOD dude and best sound yet. LOVE it.Thank you very much.
DD
good!! ;D ;D ;D
will you planning original Graphic model?
He he, thank you guys! Yes, the sounds are from Test Drive unlimited, and yes i will try hard to make the original model(s). If someone plans on making it/them however, just go for it -- the goal being to have faithful representations of bikes we adore as soon as possible, am i right ?
I re-made this mod few days ago, since i lost data from the precedent versions (the ones in the videos).. I plan to re-make the 400 and 750 as well, if time permits me to do so.. From what i recall, the 750 -- even if not set that well -- was very enjoyable with it's 100hp. It was a good track bike that a lot would enjoy here! ;D
Looks interesting will check it out tonight!
Is there any way to put this bike's sound to other bikes.
1000cc bikes would sound amazing with this.
My thoughts too MAD but not sure what ALL the sound files are. I beleive you just rename them and replace the old ones, but WHAT old ones lol. A list of them would help?? Pretty please.
DD
See my attachment and the highlighted ones......save all these original files somewhere nice then copy all the ones you like from the other bike and drop them in
Do you NOT have to change the name to the bike folder you are putting them it.
btw I love you dude, thanks for the help lmao
DD
Nope as long as you have the scl all should be fine x
COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL
TY DUDE
DD
thank you all
Nice sound ;)
Sounds can be imported on other bikes (cf: my videos). Not sure about their use being legal though -- a reason i was reticent to post them.
Most of the work is done in the engine.scl file. Just an advice, adjust the idle sample to end a bit after the idle level. Fortunately, transitions are already set, so it's a bit less work (just scaling). If you want to make bikes with unreasonably high revving engines, you will also need to increase the max value in the sfx file as well.
This scl file can be used for this bike's equivalents. FZR250R, CBR250RR, GSXR250R........
Little update!
Great update but still washes out very easy. Was testing on Imola.
You made it in the ROAD class now and I am not sure that is right as it is not with lights or road version?
In order that you can join my server with it in the road class is if you have the latest updated 916A5, 955A4, NR750 and this bike!!! ONLY ON GPBOC6
DD
Quotebut still washes out very easy
What do you mean by that ?
QuoteYou made it in the ROAD class now and I am not sure that is right as it is not with lights or road version?
It is meant to be a road bike. This is the model it will ideally have; if I can by any miracle make it.
Proceeding to download the two Ducati and joining the server.
Make sure you got the Ducati's from the last page of H's thread.
DD
Bike mismatch seemingly coming from the ZXR. Trying few things.
Edit: Downloaded the bike from the mega link but the mismatch is still there.
GPBOC6 is the ONLY server with the ZXR250 and other road bikes SAS.
The others only have the 916,955 and NR750 for those without ZXR as it is not in the BikeMod
DD
I know, this is justly the one I tried to connect. Without success, oddly.
The 2 Ducatis are on this page
http://forum.piboso.com/index.php?topic=3024.375 (http://forum.piboso.com/index.php?topic=3024.375)
DD
I did install both of them. The server told it was the ZXR that caused the mismatch. Not sure how, though.
I get on with your ZXR okay lol
Sure YOU have the right one hehe
DD
QuoteSure YOU have the right one hehe
Told you I even tested with the one in the link; in the case I did modify anything afterward. :P
Try re-downloading it ? I did update it in-between, but it was just sound-wise. It shouldn't matter when the server checks data.
I know! lol
There cannot be any mismatch if the bike isn't on the server, anyway. It would say "Bike unknown to server".
I will run the server with JUST your bike to test okay
DD
Hopefully it clears out doubts.
Trying other things. I probably mixed versions somehow.
IT say NINJA!!!! Mine is the ROAD version m8
DD
i was in the process of d/l'ing this to give it a try, when the d/l failed.
i see the link's not valid anymore... is there some problem?
It would seem that SAS uploaded the wrong version
He is sorting it out. I will then have the GPBOC6 server up for testing it.
DD
Sorry for the late reply. I am actually re-uploading the folder with the 'latest' version. It seems I got a bit confused with my local build when uploading. Once it is done, I might dig into few things noticed while testing. Sorry again.
Edit: should be up now.

I thought you already had a model integrated into the game and i am sure i have seen you previously post screenshots
QuoteI thought you already had a model integrated into the game and i am sure i have seen you previously post screenshots
I did post screenshots in an older thread, but it showcased work-in-progress meshes in 3DSMax. Projects that have been scrapped due to bad technique/methodology. I am still struggling on how I could
begin to model it!
Good multiple view images; front, top and side as a minimum are the requirement :)
H can you give SAS any tips on stopping the front end from washing out?
DD
QuoteGood multiple view images; front, top and side as a minimum are the requirement :)
If you mean some view specific references, it is pretty difficult to find decent well sized refs for these bikes. I am not even sure I would be able to start modeling even with good references.
No, i mean drawings or pictures of the bike that you can load up as background images in the 3D app.
Factory workshop manuals a great for a lot of info and pictures too. Many can be found online in forums from fans of the bikes.
DD
Model kit instructions are another good one ;)

That's justly what I meant by references.

References I have seen from there are pretty low detailed. The information about the bike is useful, though.

Model kit as in the reduced replica meant to be collected ?

Hey, pretty cool site! The only thing I found that looks like it is low-res, though.

Shame, must admit I didn't browse it for that particular model..
I do have a kind of model sheet for the 400 from my previous researches, but the proportions aren't consistent and some details missing. Didn't find much.
Not a great copy but its most of the factory manual with all the details and specs that might help some way m8.

probably the same
Wow, this sure is a detailed documentation! Thanks for the links. Too bad they were printed colorless, these side views seemed clean.
will see what l can find on my travels around the webiverse lol
DD
Revision 5 is up. See attachment for acknowledging changes.
Downloading now, will be on server GPBOC6 asap
DD
Still washes out but a softer front spring helped in a quick test. Need to play with setup but great fun to ride even with 2 chains lol.
DD
I don't get it about the dual chain thing. No duplicate in both gfx and geom. Could it be a superfluous mesh in the model ?
no idea but it is there lol

Dual chain was a bug in the original cbr model
QuoteDual chain was a bug in the original cbr model
Ok. Thanks for the information. Odd bug though.
Trying my best once again. I wonder how far I will go this time.
Oh god, kill me. I'm so bad at this. Optimization work will be the worst part so much I am using turbosmooth without thinking!
I would take you time and get 1 familiar area that is not too complex correct rather than try to tackle everything at once as half the battle is developing a method and technique with all the tools available. Start with the tank or seat unit and try to get a result you are happy with first.
Taking notes. Thanks for your help, H.
this bike definitely has the potential to be a lot of fun, especially for racing - just need to iron out that issue of whatever is causing the front end to drop away quite often, when it really shouldn't... ;D

Physics will surely be changed with the probable arrival of the new model. When it is possible this issue won't exist anymore, others could as well show up. It's yet to be seen.
I personally find this bike pretty fun, notably because of it's high revving characteristic, but I am definitely looking forward the 400 and 750, which are way more enjoyable as track bikes.
well, when you have a model that is more or less ready, let me know - i will gladly do a few skins for it 8)
Thanks a lot!
Revision 6 is up. Finally fixed the default rear sprocket (I hope...).
Thanks! Will try it soon. 8)
where could i find a link to this bike?
