Title: [Release] Hockenheim RX WIP

Hi guys,
As the Hockenheim RX event was so succesfull this year and good rFactor versions of Hockenheim are available, I am going to work on a RX version of the Hockenheim track!

I am also going to finish Franciacorta soon, there have been issues converting the track I never had before, also school and Motorsports was more important the last months :)

Any wishes for the next RX track? Franciacorta should be finished soon but texture issues are still not solved :(
I thought about Barcelona (as a conversion from rF would be possible like here) or Lydden Hill, as its just awesome.
Id also would like to make another car (only 3D). Solbergs Citro├źn, Peugeot or VW. Any help is welcome

Holjes is part of the sim already ::)


lol...  :D I know mate. Sorry, I wrote it in a misunderstanding way... I meant Holjes in a different layout. There are several in real life. Also as a complete new track Lydden would be awesome

Maybe I could try to make a track as well. A simple one though, because I don't have a lot of time and I just want to learn it.

I'm good with 3ds max, and I can make tracks for Mx Bikes if that matters at all. The bad thing is that most tutorials that I've found are 'outdated'. By that I mean that 90% of the images on tutorials don't show up. Both for GPB, WRS and KRP. I have no idea how to make puddles and rubber marks. I'm also curious if the offtrack have different textures? On most track is has just one grass texture for example. I'd like to experiment with the visuals of WRS and see what's possible.

Maybe LauZzZn can help me?

The KRP/PiBoSo modding wiki is a damn good resource for tracks. The KRP forums also came in handy when I learned.

I was so tired of figuring out how to make tracks (Jason AKA Bearded4glory and I were the first to figure out most in MXB, it was a lot of fun! But also a lot of failures) that I didn't even look properly. Just found it at first glance. Thanks for making me look a little harder Phathry, got it now! :)

Anyway, I didnt figure out how to get a proper RX track done yet, I only converted existing rFactor tracks ( edited this one a lot )
But you cant really add dynamic track features to a completely done track.
The way you create a MXB track is the way you should create a RX track for WRS :)

I actually tried to make something yesterday. It was pretty bad, but a good test. Next time I'll make a track for WRS it'll be lots better than what I tried this time.

Is there anywhere where I can download premade textures and objects for either WRS, GPB or KRP? Do you have some stuff that I could use? I'd like to make something but I don't have the time to model every object myself (walls, banners, houses, cars, busses, trucks etc.).

I could help you out with the MXB track creations if you want.

I actually meant that I could help you out to create real RX tracks. Including terrain, its textures and terrain deformation. Since you said you didn't figure out yet how a proper RX track is done with dynamic features.
