Would it be possible to have an online session with a few players next Tue or Wed (28/29 June) ?
What's needed:
- A server with a few players with admin password (to quickly switch between practice/quali/race etc).
- Don't care about which bikes.
- A short track (e.g. snetterton): that will save time.
- 10min practice, 10min quali, 10 laps race (no sighting or warmup lap).
- A lot of patience for the guys joining :)
Whatever you want just let me know when brq

Don't worry Warlock, I guess the idea is to set a date/time, then whoever can and want to join will join :)
Probably the most important thing is to have the person hosting the server joining in, in case the server goes nuts and needs a restart.
Who does the hosting usually ? Nick ? ddcc ?

As far as the server is up and the person running it can join, I have no real preference. I can even accept non-EU people/serves :)
I will set up a server and be there no problem. I am in nearly all the time so not a problem.
Pick a track and bike class that is easy and good to use for this m8. Snetterton 200 is most practical I think. GP500 or maybe MotoGP which are pretty stable.
I will make the server available from today for as long as you need.

OK guys, I guess we have a server (ddcc or Nick). Can you post if you're able to join on this Tue or Wed (let's say form 21h CET , 20h UK) ?
My servers are now in hibernation so DD will do it!

Bikes: don't make it open, just one category, whichever.
If you can name the server something like "plugin test" that would be good too.
I only have the 2 NEW tracks for Snetterton 200 is short right.
Have road bikes for now but will be on the server so no trouble to change. NR750 is so manageable and I have both the A1 and A3 916 as they handle differently and gives a choice

Never tried the 200 (only used Hawk's v0.8, which was very fine), but if the 200 is good then it's OK.
i have some time on my hands this evening, so happy to help out if i can.
however, if my ping is going to impact on anyone else's experience (not so sure how that all works, lol) then just let me know and i'll gladly step out. ;)
I think a few had a preference for tomorrow, but I'll join even tonight.

@DD: I presume I'll be able to connect if I've got the bikemod database bikes installed? I hope I won't need anything else? I'm not going to trawl the forum looking for spurious bikemod links. :P :)

Right Hawk, that's why I'd prefer a single category. To be on the safe side, I'd even say just the default bikes a nothing else. Makes life easier :)
I got BIkeMOD bikes from 1.85 as I made the pack lol.
If it is ROAD then it is 3 bikes NR750 and 916A1 and 916A3

GP500 is all from last race, MotoGP same etc
EDIT: I do NOT run OPEN class on my servers at all!!!..............All bikes are named in server name!!!
IMO the 2 versions A1 and A3 of H bike, make too much confusion. :P
I've got the BikeMOD 1.85 installed so I should be okay then. :)

I can get in fine. But if ddcc can start a server with only the default bikes, that would be easier I guess.
And Snetterton v0.8 would be better (quicker).

Snetterton 200 is more or less the same track as the old Snetterton circuit.... In fact it's got a little chicane there after the second corner to slow riders down so you should feel a lot safer there Max...... Sorry Max, I couldn't resist! Hehe! ;D

OK, thanks to the all guys that were in (+ the ones that made servers available).
We managed a few laps during a race to test some stuff.
I have enough logs to try to understand the data GPB actually spits :)
let us know if/when you need testers again - i suffered my usual end of the month super slow-down with my ISP again on Wednesday, and only just got reasonable speeds back again this morning, .... :-[
I will need another test someday soon, but this time I'd need to have at least 6-8 riders.
Probably it would be just easier if I join the next online event and I spectate the race.
I can set up a server again for you but tonite I am on the door at me mates pub so will be out, any other time I will be in.
Let me know what track and bikes plus laps etc
