Title: Shadows broken?
Post by: RiccoChicco on October 06, 2016, 10:05:46 PM
Hi,

I noticed that some tracks using a lot of shading textures (like the main asphalt texture on Suzuka) doesn't seem to work. Here's what I've got on track :

As you can see, the track is nearly "white".

Everything is activated or in ultra setting in graphics menu. Using a GTX970 with updated drivers.

Ricco.

I confirm that too. Damn, Suz was one of our best looking tracks.

I have a GTX970 too (not sure it matters though).

It is not a new bug.
Actually it's a fixed bug. When blending multimapping was used with bump shaders and shadow, it still went through the multiply multimapping rendering path.
The solution is to remove the alpha channel from the second texture and re-export the MAP. Hopefully the track creator / converter is still around.
