Post by: Ian on December 30, 2013, 09:19:00 PM
A guide on how to add new bikes and paints  to your game, this is a step by step for people who have never done this before It will save you hours of forum reading
Please remember to backup your files before you start you do this at your own risk
You will be visiting the gpbikes folders a lot so make a short cut and place on your desktop or add them to your favorite list what ever works best for you
If you installed the game in the default location you will find the gpbikes folder here.

We have to add a new folder and name it bikes

Inside bikes add 4 folders and name them after the default 125/500/990

Open each of the folders and add a folder and name it paints

Now lets add more bikes go to the fantastic bike mod page here  http://forum.piboso.com/index.php?topic=789.0

At the top of the first page you will see the mod version, a list of the current bikes included and the download link

Download and save the bike mod to your hard drive, unzip, copy, open the bikes folder and paste them in

All the mod bikes are ready to go with paints installed .To add more paints we will use the R6 online skin pack http://forum.piboso.com/index.php?topic=396.0

Paints for all the other bikes can be downloaded from here https://mega.co.nz/#F!iR9mgKJT!BTnOnTAxNngwZyNuXJ4slQ

Download and save the R6 pack to your hard drive, the file will be in a RAR format you will need Winzip or 7-Zip to open them

Copy the files open the R6 folder open the paints folder paste the new files in

NOTES ON SERVERS AND MODS

Before you go online you will need to check the current mod version and at which tracks the mod is installed go here http://stats.gp-bikes.com/servers.php

If you join a normal server and you have the correct mod installed on your PC then select  the default 125 500 990 = Connection

If you join a normal server and you have the correct mod installed on your PC then select a bike from the mod = Bike unknown to server

If you join a mod server and you have the correct mod installed on your PC then select the 125 500 990 = Connection

If you join a mod server and you have the wrong mod/one bike folder missing then select the default 125 500 990 = Data missmatch
