Hi Guys!

Saturday 8th March 2014

Updated the MEGA "Track Downloads" database with:

Misano GP Direction.zip (Previously known as Misano 01 track file..I have renamed the Misano 01 zip file name to "Misano GP Direction.zip"
to save confusion but, when you unzip that archive you must use the unzipped track folder name of "Misano 01"
for your track folder otherwise it will create data mismatch errors.)

Track Name Updated: April 9th 2014
Renamed the database track file, "MCHQ.rar" to "Magnycours.rar" as I had quite a few guys wondering if the Magnycours track was in the database. ;)

Could all track authors please make sure you name your track folders the same as the actual track/circuit name represented please. Thank you guys. ;) 8)

Work completed on the above new version:

Spectator problem sorted out.
Added a start line
Moved the start grid back so that pole position can see the starters flags(Accurate now to real circuit).
Also sorted out more artefacts that I found while working on the track.

Re-positioned the "Flagman" (Could not see him from start line before).

A track update, today on Tuesday 17th March 2015

Updated the "Track Downloads" databases with:

Classic Daytona 200 V0.8_NDS.rar

Changes Log:

Track has been repaired rather than a complete track surface rebuild as the original track surface wasn't too bad and I haven't had a lot of time spare to work on a complete rebuild.
Track surface artefacts removed and repaired. Is now 98% of what I'd expect it to be(Very rideable)
Converted the track surface into the 1970's Classic Daytona 200 track layout
Built new centreline.
Brand new track camera file
Brand new Marshals File
Start Grid is now were it should be, on the Pit Road. Finish Line as usual were it should be, on track.

A track update, today on Thursday 19th March 2015

Updated the "Track Downloads" databases with:

Classic Daytona 200 V0.81_NDS.rar (Please replace previous version with this version.)

Change Log:

More track surface artefacts removed and repaired.
Fixed two places on track were core.exe crashes were occurring.
Fixed shadow problem with blacking out rear bike wheel exiting first corner behind pits.
I cannot pinpoint the problem with track shadows - Most track shadows appear, but no bike/rider shadows are cast despite the textures being checked and corrected for alpha channels. I think it's a shader problem, but if so then it's probably better to rebuild than mess about trying to fix those and I'm too busy right now for a job like that, so it is now what it is. Better than it was for shadow casting, but still has issues but on the plus side the track now works well for racing and the bikes.

Croft V0.8b_NDS (The "b" denotes a "Bumpy" track surface)

Croft V0.8s_NDS(The "s" denotes a "Smooth" track surface)

Croft V0.8b(The "b" denotes a "Bumpy" track surface)

Croft V0.8s(The "s" denotes a "Smooth" track surface)

Change Log:

Totally rebuilt tracks surfaces from scratch. One version smooth and one version with bumps and undulations built-in.
Added both "No Dynamic Surface(NDS)" and "Dynamic Track Surface" types.
Altered sector timing markers to avoid lap time corruption from missed sectors.
Altered Pit-in and Pit-out markers to better capture rider pit entry and exit.
Added track limit(White-Lines) checkpoint markers on chicanes and exit of "Jim Clark Esses" with a 3 second penalty for each one you miss.
UV-mapped original track texture onto new track surfaces.
Sealed 99% of gaps in trackside scene mesh to avoid the dreaded "Core.exe" crashes. If you find any then let me know.

Change Log:

Converted this track on recommendation from AE777 and permissions from original author DCJC
Usual conversion process of tidying-up the 3D mesh and converting to GPB specs. This was a big job for this track.
The track is accurate with exception to the hills on the track; they are shorter and more acute than reality and hence the bikes do tend to get airborne if you don't take cautions, but can be fun! ;D
New replay camera and marshal files kindly provided by Nick Napalm

Changed asphalt completely for fix gap issue on turn no1
First turn asphalt before kerb fixed error naming (TRKBASHP to TRKBASPH) causing to fall in space.
Corrected skids elevation
Completely changed asphalt in pit, eliminated gap
Corrected *.ini file
Added full starting line (25 stalls, 4 rows)
Added full pit line (25 pits)
Added marshals
Added marshal houses
Red white rails in pit made collidable
Changed TV camera name
Removed distraction balloon as suggested
Removed umbrella also as distraction on hill between turn 2 and 3

Change Log:

Created a NDS(No Dynamic Surface) version of current Johor track.
Created new track centreline/adjusted start grid to correct position/tweaked track sector timing markers.
Created NEW Replay CAM files, including a NEW "Race Start CAM" and also a NEW "Sky CAM" that overlooks all the track and uses zoom function to view the action from above as though followed by a helicopter.
Tweaked the old "Track Marshal" positions so they work with the new track centreline.

Silverstone GP v0.96_NDS
Silverstone GP v0.96(Dynamic Track Surface)

Change Log:

Extensive rebuild of most of the UV maps and placement adjustments of the textures within the UV maps.
New track texture.
New "HELI-CAM". This will show the replay as if viewing from a Helicopter following the riders.
Numerous fixes to gaps and holes.
Fixed a lot of track peripheral models such as trees and banner-ads that were not showing in v0.95
New pit-in and pit-exit track textures
Activated the "Artificial Turf" - Caution is needed now as it is pretty slippy if you ride over at an angle.
Extensive optimisation to reduce number of verts and textures needed to be processed, so should be more consistent on your FPS rates.
Adjusted some yardage markers that were protruding into the track.
Fixed some Armco and tyre wall barriers that were not working correctly.
Tweaked the replay cams.
New track code added to this version.

Note: Unfortunately I had to cut out the real 3D terrain mesh I created due to it causing the FBX2EDF Export Converter crashing on export. That was a real shame because it showed a true landscape view in the distance. I'll aim to include this once the FBX2EDF Export Converter has been fixed.
