I can't find any info on painting bikes, is there a how to anywhere?

Have a look at Juju's database. He posts a link for it under his name or as a signature in his posts. He has some great tutorials in there. ;)
There is no tutorial available.
You can use Juju´s Database as a start but you have to speak francaise to understand it.
I will translate that if i´ve find some time...
for example:
Juju uses 4096x4096 for his textures while GPB uses 1024x1024 or 2048x2048 for default.
