We just had amazing fun with the r6`s on Paul Ricard for over 5 hours :) 9 riders at some point! The R6 is the best thing that happened to GPB`s in a long while. Thanks to Piboso for allowing us to mod the game. Hope alot of cool stuff will be made in the future :D

But it seems that the rear tyres of the R6 are a little bit offset on the starting grid pic. It looked like th rear is few centimeters in the air? Front is plain down on asphalt.
Front is also on the air, hope when the bike is finished this will be fixed.

They are in DLC4 of Motogp13. I just remade ALL skins in HD. ;)

I agree.
It will be changed in the Future When we (modders) fully Understand the physics and geom. Files.
Then it will be relativly Easy and fast to get the Bike correctly done. Right now there are more 3D modelers than physics modders Out there...
In terms of Fun it will be better right now to use the Same physics for Murusama , rcv213, gsvr.
In terms of Realism this has to be changed in the Future...for sure!

It's a valid point, but I tend to disagree here.... if we would be able to produce realistic physics every bike would have its pros and cons. An M1 for example would have its advantages on a handling course and a rcv213 would have its advantages on a course where you can take advantage of the power... so in a championship it would be very interesting, which bikes people would choose - it would be quite heterogeneous I think depending on the preferences of each and every rider. I would even go as far as assuming that some might even pick a bike that is a bit less competitive like a GP12 because they simply like the looks of that bike or because they are a Ducati enthusiast.

I can only speak for myself: Right now it is Easy to make the Engines of each bike, so you can Feel the difference in terms of Maximum power and powerband. We can give each Bike a different brake style. BUT they will all handle the Same due to the same Geometry we right now still have to use. We making Progress in understanding the geom.file but the Progress is Slow....to Slow for my Taste and w/o the really Big work done by Neoraptor we were two to three steps behind.

yeah, it will definitely not be 100% on the money in terms of realism of driving a motogp bike - if only for the fact that we do not have 100% of the data of those racing prototypes. but it won't matter as (like you stated already) we will not be able to tell - we never rode a MotoGP bike and most likely never will. the thing that matters is that it feels like we all (or at least the majority) assume it would feel and that the known characteristics of those bikes are resembled (e.g. the cornering of the M1)

yeah no need to hurry. we all understand that this is a complex undertaking... it's just nice to know that this will come eventually down the road :) if I dream of a whole MotoGP field pretty much realistically resembled in GPB, with all the tracks in a quality like Paul Ricard for example - I know I won't be spending my free-time other than racing in GPB ;)

Anywhere between 10secs and 3days, depending on how good you are at photoshop (e.g. I'm below noob level) and on what quality you want achieve (e.g. Juju level).
BTW, these (like the majority of images posted in this thread) are not really screenshots as they are heavily photoshopped: the images do look nice (and I appreciate the effort in them), but it may be misleading to new players as some of the new games around may have this kind of effects (depth of field, motion blur etc) in-game.

Latest drivers (13.12) have fixed the issue (even the 13.11beta were OK).
Anyway, moving to nvidia is not a bad call if you care about GPB.

Harley did run a Superbike in AMA for about 13 years, but miss management and hiring fast riders, not development riders cost them dearly. They didn't know how to build a team like Honda and others did over years. So eventually they shut down the program.

My MacPro is Intel which I've had since 2006, with a video card upgrade and ram. And was the first computer I played GP Bikes on under Bootcamp. ;) All Mac's are Intel based now, think my last PPC was my G5.
Still pretty far from a MotoGP. Anyway I guess their target customer may not even know what motogp is, so this explains that :)

Thinking about it for a long time. I really think this threads name should be changed to GP Bikes art work. Reason is the "Screen Shots" are misleading. A new player is going to look at this then play the game and wonder were the motion blur is, where the camera effects, the lighting and so on.
I think the pictures here are great, and very creative, but these aren't screen shots. This is art work, made from a screen shot. :/
I'm sure some of these pictures have made it to other boards and people will assume this is exactly what the Sim looks like. Then send eMails asking why there Sim they bought doesn't look like the screen shots they see.
For me it's just very misleading. It's art work made from a screen shot, and can't be called a stand alone screen shot.

But everyone can try the demo first...It's the same with game trailers. Pre rendered trailers that look 1000 time better than the actual game... rFactor looks a bit like GP Bikes but some screenshots are also heavily retouched and people still buy the game. But I understand your point, maybe we should split the screenshots in 2 different threads. But who would upload normal screenshots without retouching them a bit? :/

If OK for all, I can create two separate sticky threads (Screenshots and Artwork, or whatever name suits) so that people will be able to post in the appropriate one
(Screenshot = zero editing).
Not sure what to do about the current thread though ... I don't think I can manually move posts, so each one will have to "move" his own posts by himself (it's not hard: you click on "modify" of your post, copy all, then create a reply in the new topic and paste all).
Thoughts ?

If I post a screen shot it's a screen shot directly from the game. I would never post a heavily touched up picture and pass it off as a screen shot.

I vote for this aswell. I love editing screenshots, it`s a real moment of relaxation for me :) And i would love a place just for those things, maybe we can combine it with artwork from other games aswell? And have a seperate thread for untouched shots, although i wouldn`t really call some of those representitive aswell, if gp bikes is run on the lowest settings it looks like ridge racer 1 on the psx...
I can easily reupload all the shots as i have the ones from this forum all backupped...
Perhaps giving the media section a once over would also be a good thing. ;)

Pocket-bikes (that I'd personally find funnier than scooters and vespas) may prove to be too much of a challenge for the GPB engine: rider movements have a much higher importance than on bikes.

I'll do nothing to it (as I can't): I guess it will just be deserted and fall down in the list of posts.
Other possibility is to make it sticky, but it somehow goes against the clarification introduced with the 2 new topics (screenshots/artwork).
Guess that people that posted screenshots in this topic could easily recreate their posts in the appropriate new topic (use the search feature to find your posts in this thread, click on post, modify copy the "source", then paste in new topic). If this is done, the old post (this one) can probably be deleted by an admin (or it can stay down the list anyway, no big deal).

Targa or Jpeg, the output resolution will be your ingame resolution (I think Juju plays with 1600x1200 btw).
Only difference is that Targa is lossless compression (as good as a bitmap), while JPG is not (so it introduces some quality degradation).
