Title: Help the mud people (bike mod server hosting issue).
Post by: Asdrael on November 08, 2017, 09:07:33 AM
Hello clean people riding on asphalt,

I come from the mud side (MXB). We have had an update this week, and since I maintain a mod pack (the OEM mod (http://forum.mx-bikes.com/index.php?topic=1979.0)) I have updated all my bikes to point to the new tyres, and tyres to comply to new format.

However, when loading a server with those bikes, clients crash upon connection (standard windows application crash).

Of note:
- everything worked perfectly in the last beta. The amount of changes done are very minimal for current beta (either values, or add / remove one line of tyre type for example) compared to stock bikes and tyres and compared to previous beta.
- everything works offline.
- I can get single bikes chosen randomly (tried like 3 out of 10) from this pack on a dedicated server, and it works.
- If I take 2 bikes from the ones that work alone, load them on the server, and try to connect, the client crashes.

Support thread here: http://forum.mx-bikes.com/index.php?topic=1985.msg29318#msg29318

If anyone has had a similar issue and/or has any leads that I could investigate to fix my issue, I'd be very grateful.

Try this: LAA (https://www.techpowerup.com/forums/attachments/laa_2_0_4-zip.34392/)

That's a load optimizer right?

Should it be client or server side?

(thanks a lot for this, I'll give it a shot tonight).

You were right, thanks a lot! Looks like Beta7 changed something with loading during online session :/
