The challenge is "easy", the winner will be the rider which will be closer to Perotti's Lap. But there are some rules, because we want make a video comparison between the Real & the best GP Bikes rider of the event.

Rules:

Track: Franciacorta V0.9
Bikes Category: WorldSBK 17
Server: The lap it must be done on the Event Server: IMT - HotLap Event #1 or IMT - HotLap Event #2 (just onboard in the #2)
Replay: Save the Replay of your best lap (you can found your replays in ...\Documents\PiBoSo\GP Bikes\replays) just the file .rpy is valid for the event
Event Start: Now!
Event End: 23 November (2 weeks)

The winner can choose the next hotlap event with the SBK (track and condition) and will be the protagonist of the "Franciacorta Real vs GP bikes" video.

The first 3 riders in any IMT events will be in the "hall of fame" of this section.

Will the event be divided to onboard and 3pp players?

I don't think , because they ask for rpy file , and with this you can switch views , and get the same view as the real lap they show us

Yes I know that it is impossible to see who was riding onboard and who was 3p. Anyway... I will try to match my lap times. I just wonder how much time will I loose to fastest onboard player.

Ok we open also the Onboard server for the event. The winners will be 2; the best lap on the server #1, and the best onboard rider on the server #2.

How and where do we post our replays?

We are sorry, but we can't be sure if a lap is onboard or not, so the winner will be just the absolute fastest lap.  :P

Here. the .rpy files can be hosted on a website as MEGA, Dropbox, ect... after just copy the link in this thread.

Absolutely not! Anyone can try to win in both the servers.  ;)

But we put the podium, with the 3 best riders of the event, the 1st place win "something" tomorrow more info!

Some more info about the event:

The server of the Hotlaps does not work correctly, I have not registered this lap and others that I have done ...

It's a pity that it does not work well, I do not know if it will be a server or GPBikes error.

I have saved the Replay of the lap in case someone wants it;)

The replays files are required,  not optional,  without it the laps are not valid. It's a antilamer solution.

Lap times are right around where the real world is; Surprising how close it is. Just goes to show how good the riders and creators are.  :)

Jose you are Marc Marquez of this game... you brake the laws of virtual physics... congratulations!

The bike that I used was the Aprilia. You could still improve a few tenths of the hotlap, but it would be a matter of luck to make all the almost perfect partials.

Here I leave the replay of the hotlap, you will see how in the T2, when leaving the chicane, I make a small mistake accelerating the bike, but the lap was very good.

Jose, Wimp, Davide, Blackhear does anyone of you made these laps with onboard cam? I just ask because I need a reference how fast it is possible to ride on this track with onboard cam. I feel I can drop one more second but with my skill 1.13 will be maximum I think. Don't have too much time to practice unfortunately.

Did a 12.2 with onboard cam in after like 1-2hours of riding there. But with bad setup compared to now. I think i can do a low 1.11 maybe even faster with onboard but very hard because you can't see curbs clearly which is important on this track.

Curbs are killing me  ;D ;D :'(

This track is crazy to get a perfect lap. I feel I can do a 1.09.5 but near impossible to not clip a curb or crash over bumps when pushing that hard.
Also did about 10 laps into the 1.09's before getting this time. I had a 1.09.766 before this one...

Will be posting replays and setup near the end of the competition if thats alright with everybody. Replay does look sick with a lot of slides into corners  8)

You can rest assured that I do not think I will try to improve the time again, because it would be constantly improve myself and improve your and so on and we would not have life ... hahahaha

You can improve the time, that's clear, but as you say the circuit is very technical and it costs a lot to make a perfect lap. My ideal lap is 1: 09.2, but I will never do it ...

Playing online with Blackheart the other day, I had two very good laps, but fail in the last sector, they would have been 1: 09.5 easily, but it is difficult to do so.

At least I had to play a teacher sharing my setup and the replay of the lap so that you can do 1:09 ;).

I had an ideal lap of 1.09.0 but that seems impossible because i passed the sectors too fast so i lost time in the following sector. Anyway hopefully next track will be more of a flowing track than this tiny track for a 1000cc bike...

It's good to do Hotlaps, it's fun ...
You could make some classifications with several different circuits and motorcycles, at least there will be a reason to play hehehe

I must say that this track is very difficult for me, and I big respect to everyone for getting such a great lap times :-) I had a good practice on Franciacorta but Im gettin tired with this track. I thought I will improve day by day but after good times I start to go slower and slower and stopped my progress at 1.14.4

We've seen a lot of people try on the server and we're happy about it, but the event it was too "hard" and 2 weeks are too much, just a couple of riders are really fast with this bikes in a tiny track as Franciacorta (and yep the curbs are very bad here!)

We hope the next event will be better and more fun, and if you have ideas write it  :D

No no the event was fantastic and it gave a lot to improve skills and learn how to ride. Although the times are insane I think that 2 weeks are enough to learn the track and improve.

As fpr the next track i suggest MID OHIO! 😁

Special thanks to Jose Reina for helping me with setup for TCS and anti-wheelie.

The setup is just some minor changes apart from the TCS and anti-wheelie and ofcourse the Superpole tyre in the rear. All the other changes is minor details that sometimes don't make a difference at all but thats the setup I did the lap with  ;D . Some of you might find that the bike has too much engine brake but that is how I like it. A lot of fun to slide the bike into the corners as you will see in the replay  8) .
I posted the replay of my fastest lap but I also have about 5 more lap replays that are below a 1.10 . So if anyone wants them just ask me.
All in all a very fun event for me personally but only the track could have been better. I feel that a track like Autodrom Most would be awesome to have the next event on because it is so well built and smooth with great flowing corners.
