it is possible to enter that regressive timer as we had in other championships.
helps a lot because of the difference of time zone
will we have more than one server?

Well, 8pm CET is 2pm for me on the east coast of north america. I would be willing to start up to 6 hours earlier, if 8pm CET is too late for some ppl.

I think that one of the best way to have people riding on a good time start is to split the ~48 riders in two categories, depending on their location..

I didn't check all the nationalities but doing a group for the European and an other for the American could be good. May be some of all the riders will not be in these two categories :/...

Maybe we can do a poll with extended timing ? (Depending on location)

As I know the most people would be available at 20:00 CET, please write who may be able to start tomorrow at 15:00 CET.

I know it would look like only 5 people will start at 15:00 and the rest at 20:00 (what would cause launching 2 servers), but maybe we would avoid it if more people will be available earlier (of course, I don't want to force you for anything).

Well race 1 was fun enough despite the low numbers  8).

Well done to all who finished and Asril the Alien for the win.

Thanks to Teeds for hosting.

Sorry to those who have this rotten Core-after-a-lap-or-two problem  :(

Have a good race in the other tonight. Hopefully you have two servers 'cos 40ish riders wont fit  ;)

Sorry to - I think it was #3 - it was my first GPB start. In the next race I will be more cautious.
I have only quitted because I was out of fuel. I have started with Setup for practice! ??? I have used the race Setup in WarmUp. I don't understand why the Setup changed to Practice Setup.

It's a difficult decision, but...

I'm resigning from organizing Moto2 Cup.

Too much things changed from signing up to starting the 1st race and I wasn't able to control that. I see many people weren't happy about some things with this championship.

Also, I'm not able to host any server what can cause another difficulty as I can't inform if server is up.

If I caused you're mad in any way - I'm sorry.

PS: Results from Phillip Island will be uploaded asap.

Congratulate Wimp for the victory and the third classified who did not know who he was.

I thought I was left without a left flank when I opened the gas smoothly and lost the rear in turn 5, but I still had more, that's what happens to me because I did not do any mock race and roll with worn tires ..

I felt that something happened Gzehoo. Honestly I understand you. Managing so many people must be hard ...very hard. I think that we can just carry on with the calendar. Use discord chanel to set up lobby and race whoever can. We can split the championship to onboard players or to slower/faster players and make in the same time making two groups with different championship.

Mate just as an outsider who's been trying to get his laptimes up there close enough to even bother register for the championship you seem to be going fairly hard on yourself.
You got an official bike together with Manu's help, focused a rake of people from what I've seen of the practice servers and an actual full race which looked tight enough to be a spectacle to watch.
From what I can see so far this championship has completely surpassed any expectations I would've expected as the first race series on a niche game...

Relax, its fine. Just need to make some decisions. I would say make 2 Race classes based on skill. Have them race at 2 different timestamps (for example: one "amature" at 19.00CET and one "pro" at 20.30CET) or something along those lines. This way you only need 1 server for about 3-4hours.  You can't satisfy everyone. Just try to focus on as many as possible.

Why in the world would you stop?  It was a smashing success all around.  There is always room for improvement, just make some improvements and move on.  I would be really disappointed to see this championship fall by the wayside after having so much interest.  I hope you rethink you decision after sleeping.  Looking forwards to the rest of the series.

@Ghehoo:

It's completely normal that about 40 drivers are too much for one.
I was for some years admin of a Grand Prix legends league. In the best time there was about 70 participants in 4 grids. I remeber at this time there was about 8 admins: twe for the servers, two for programming of the website, one for the "scoring", and so on.

About the race: really nice to see a full grid! Personal goal was to stay on the bike for the entire race and gain a lot of positions ;D. Unfortunately I fell in the 2nd lap in the hairpin :o After that I had a quite steady pace and climbed to p10 from p18. Only to lose this position in the last 2 laps, when I had worn tires and fell again. Anyway nice experience and hopefully the series will be continued...

Haha, silly me :-D I let Tusrat by because I thought the is one of the top riders and there were blue flags :-D

Really ?  :-[

Don't remember but if there are points and if the administrator of the race is Ok, i give you my place ;)

By the way, Blue flags appear much too early.. And you have to check who is behind you every single corner to be sure that the guys behind you is in the first guys... And sometimes you see blue flag and.... No one behind you  :-\

It was on the penultimate lap I think. Right before Syberia and Lukey Heights, as far as I remember you were following someone. But even if it happened dont worry, it was my miastek and moreover I dont race for points but for fun, to be faster, train my focus and other skills. Championship is the best occasion for it. It was my miastake and I have to learn from it. I agree that they show up too early. And I focus more on not to block anyone rather than not make a mistake.

I would like to ask the staff that when they leave the pit they respect the exit lane, the people were coming straight to the lane by the cones hindering those who were trying to make a fast turn ... the exit of the pit is in the curve and not the cones ..

I saw several bikes doing this ...
let's respect the limits of the personal track ;D ;D ;D

It's only about your start position and how it changed after the race ;)

In the last days I have created a tool that is reading some statistics from replays and creates a html file.
Here is the file from 20:00 cet victoria race:

http://race.eolc.de/Olaf_Lehmann/R01victoria.html
(http://race.eolc.de/Olaf_Lehmann/R01victoria.html)
If anyone has questions - or find some bugs - please ask and report!
