Nice mate, looks awesome but maybe some things can be improved. The bike have a lot potential definitely.
The sound have a little fail, when the engine goes to the medium part of rpm you can hear a sound like a engine in neutral gear mixed whit the sound of the bike.
The weight tranfer can be improve too and the stiffness are so high in my opinion, maybe the mass center it has to be different.

Idle sound plays for everyone in a multiplayer lobby, regardless of distance from the rider who is idling.
Front end bug annoying but bearable, (barely makes me crash).
Other than that its really nice and feels really responsive, which is perfect imo.

Must be a problem on my end, my friend has the same problem.
The grip is almost perfect on the bike, otherwise it will feel like its on rails cause you never spin the rear.

When the rear wet tyre is brand new (no wear) the tyre is VERY slippery and you can barely turn the bike without falling over (literally 4 degree lean angle max)
Any reason for this? i have no idea what could be causing that, only happens with a new rear tyre, new front doesnt have any effect that is this bad...

I encountered the dreaded rear suspension bug under braking. Given the fact that this thing happens with 2 different mods built by 2 different people I guess it's a problem in the physics simulation of the game.

This is because the

At first it's nearly impossible to not fall off the bike when leaning at even small amounts, seems the front tyre when cold has too low grip. If you stay in a straight line and pump the brakes for 30 secs or so they come good.

its the rear tyre when its new...
For me it was the front, with cold wets I never got to the acceleration bit without falling off ;D Wimp has pointed me to the bit he thinks might be causing it, i'll test it later.

im pretty sure the bikes in gpbikes all have tyre warmers/blankets enabled in their tyre files...
The r6 wets have it enabled too... (same for both front and rear)
tyreHeaterTemperature = 50
The optimal for the wet is 75 for the rear and 65 for the front, so i cant see how its temperature related. especially when if you return to the pits after a few laps and go straight back out without renewing the tyres the grip thing doesnt happen (does happen if you have automatic tyre change on in simulation tab of settings)
also i tested the bike with a worn rear and new front, no issue.
Tested with worn front and new rear and the issue was back, zero lean angle and instant crash as soon as you try going round a corner.
I have no clue why this happens but i assumed it was something to do with the wear value when the tyre is fresh?
What you explained is the same as me and everyone else... so i really have no clue, just reporting what i found :P

Just tested it and holy fuck julien, I don't know how it is able to be better than the r6 but it is... . Its amazing. Mainly the braking feels very nice for me. (maybe i can brake a bit too late for realism but it feels really natural and good)!

playing GP Bikes for 2 years now. Reading the forum for about 1 year.
Because of this WSSP bike I have to become active here.
I want to share my personal feedback about the R6 (I ride an older R6 in real life on the track, so I didn´t ride the honda yet):
- Bike model GOOD
- Bike physics VERY GOOD (some other bikes miss somehow stability, this one is very realistic) Great job!
- Tires GOOD (However I would say that the Pirelli SC2 front tire doesn´t feel so save in real life)
- Camera (Point of view) PERFECT (i´m using the onboard, on bike view)
- Engine PERFECT (finaly a 600cc with realistic power and vmax)
- Sound (often used, bit boring but still OK, transition from idle to onhigh not so good and vice versa, room for improvement here)
- Description in bike lobby

The downshift is annoying, no clutching, not realistic for this kind of bike in my opinion.

With shift help it feels now realistic for a bike without quickshifter.
Maybe there is the possibility to add an engine mapping or so, where it can be chosen between with and without quickshifter.
There should be the option for sinter and CRQ braking pads for the front wheel.
However this bike is awesome and realy fun to ride. Would say at the moment the best 600cc bike mod out there.
It almost perfect and therefore almost ready for including it in the basic game where the 600cc is still missing, i´d say. (No idea if Piboso is planing to add a 600cc)
Hopefully some points are debatable :)

Sorry for the double post but i noticed tonight, playing with Teeds, after the game, looking at the replay, that the right hand of the pilot is not on the throttle. You can see it turn when accelerating but not at the good place. Its on a virtual throttle, 10cm from the good position.
if you need pict or a tiny video, i can do that. I used Orbit view in the replay.
And, i absolutly might be wrong, but i've only seen that on the WSSP 2018, its on the good place on Moto3 (Honda) and Moto2 (Suter and Kalex).

i'm no expert at all in "painting" with a computer so i'm trying my best after what i read in this forum.
My problem is i copied and modified the test livery of the R6 to change the number and since it worked, i changed the rim color.
Ok, so it's not the milestone i want to reach but it's already good to have my R6 with my #40.
But if i load the "base" R6, it comes a the second screen, all black and ready to paint ;D
And since what i want to get is a "Bee" so all Black and Yellow (like a Zebra), instead of redoing the entire blue in black and yellow, i was wondering if i could start from the "Base" black color.
But, i can't find the "paints" file for base R6 in black.
Are they somewhere ?
And second thing is, i don't have Photoshop, i just have "Photofiltre" which i know how to manage a little bit but i don't think it works with layers so is that a problem ?
For example, i putt in white the tiny part in front where R6 is written and covered it with white, and then wrote 40 on it but you can still see the R6 waterprint behind.
Is that something to worry about ?

The "base" is the original texture of the bike, its not a "paint" so there isnt in the paints folder.

My tip is to learn Photoshop, the template has layers, so need just 1 second for change colors at the bike.
The template is a white bike with a layer for the main color, so just select all this layer and chose a color, save it in
tga 24 bit pack it with painted and done! ;)

Great bikes! Very nice to ride once you get used to them and fiddle a little with setup!
However there is the suspension bug, is this known as a GPB mod or was there a way to fix it? I think i recall Manu's M2 bikes having it when they came out, but have been gone since so don't know if it got fixed.
It's the bug where after 5-6 laps in a race, the rear suspension seem to collapse a little and when you then brake, it kind of bounces back and lifts the rear a little making the whole bike a bit unstable on braking and into corners and a bit unpredictable sometimes.

It changes sound so abruptly, its painful to hear. I was expecting it to sound the same as the other bikes but instead the low end was changed to something completely different, then added to the old sound. Like what?

As for the whole discussion about sounds...I don't really understand why some people shit in the room we all sit... This community is special and despite some argues and problems we must take care about it. Thanks to modders and their work we can all enjoy this game. And sharing someones work as long as he is mentioned in credits should be fine. Otherwise this game could be dead. And in the present situation we can enjoy racing bikes in one place no other game has. Lets respect that. Just my few words about the discussion above.

Really loving this mod so far ! Just wondering which file in the templates do I need to edit to add my own custom paint, as i'm new at painting bikes. Keep up the good work tho :)
love love all the bikes in this catergory, but have to say the MV sounds really bad, im only saying this because all the other bikes sound so awesome. so the sound of the MV really seems off.
it is a real pain to get any feeling from the sound and feels robotic, any chance that you could update just using the sounds you used on the other models?
if not, is there a way to mod the sound myself?
only asking as the MV feels the nicest to me, hope you not offended by me asking but just your work such good that mv isnt up there with quality of the other bikes in the range.

Hi all,
Here is my issue and hope someone can help. I have MX Bikes as well and never ran into this problem installing new bikes. I have managed to get the new tracks installed like this: Changed the track pkz file to rar and un zipped, Installed the new track file into this folder and the tracks work fine. Now here is my issue after reading many threads on the forum. I was told on here that the bike mods do NOT go in the same folder as stock bikes. So I have not changed the bikes pkz file to rar. I just created a new folder called bikes. I have downloaded the new 2018 WorldSSP mod and put all 4 new bikes into the bikes folder I created (bikes). I have also installed the tyre mod into the misc/tyre folder. When I load the game up I see the 2018 category, list of bikes, & paints for the bikes etc but there is no bike there? I read on the forum that I also need to put the Stand file in the stand folder? But I do not have a stand file or I can not find it in the bikes folder to maybe extract it into the stand folder? If so, what does it look like? There is the templates on here but NO stand files, where are they for these four bikes? Or am I completely wrong here or missing something? Had 2 straight days at it & getting really frustrating.
The stand is -IMT_Stand_Double- it is in the database.
Put it in: C:\Program Files (x86)\GP Bikes\gpbikes\misc\stands
The tires here: C:\Program Files (x86)\GP Bikes\gpbikes\tyres

This new update seems to make the bike more stable under braking +turn in, I hope we get a proper F3 sound update soon!
I think I found a "bug" in the tires... Hot pressures are lower then cold pressures when the tire is below optimum temperature. I think hot pressures should always be higher then the pressures set in the garage... :)
I was wondering if its a bug or something, but when I adjust the TC it seems to adjust all the other electronics too, such as anti-wheelie and engine braking. There are separate options for these in the dashboard and garage, however they don't seem to work form me ATM. Just wondering if it was intended that way or a small bug that's all.

Or just do what I had to do.
Draw a line, extract the files and see where it went in the sim, then move the line and see in sim.
Rinse and repeat and you'll eventually learn where stuff needs to go

I don't know where to post this problem. But I have something that quite bothers my fellow mates when we were racing online. We have a little local competition using this mod with Myst1cPrun3's DMT (340). Three of my friends had a problem with today's race at Victoria Circuit.
Two of them were in Lap 15 out of 16. One was in the mid of 5th corner and shifted down the gear, he was downshifting normally and you can see him in the vid, he's the FIAT one, but then suddenly the engine was just gone. The other one was exiting from the 2nd corner, from 4th to 5th gear, and the engine was also dead. Both of them ride Yamaha R6 and still had plenty of fuels. The last one (not in the vid) was riding MV Agusta, but the same thing happened, the difference is that he was in around Lap 8 or 9. All of them didn't have its RPM over the rev.
I understand that it usually happens when you're trying to shifting down the gear too quickly and the engine blew. But this happened because of upshifting. Any idea how to fix this?

The engine has blown, but I would hazard a guess you guys were downshifting rough for most of the race shown here, and it built up. Other than that I'm not really sure what that is, as its not happened to me or anyone else to my knowledge.
Maybe a 'realism' setting server side?
If the full race gets uploaded from their POV's it should be easy to spot if they bang it on the limiter/high in the revs every time.
To be honest I've only ever blown a bike up once in my 2 years of GPB, think it was the old MSM 2 stroke back in beta 11 ish.
It sized and pitched me with no engine upon respawn. So this I would guess goes more on the bug side, or setting selected without realising side.
