Title: Crash on Startup Beta 14

Hey, i just downloaded beta 14 and installed it.
The moment i start the game core.exe crashes with the error code (0xc000007b).
Tried the compatibility modes, but no change.

Beta 13 works fine.

do you have 64bit OS?

Yes. Windows 10 64bit. Beta 14 is a fresh install without any modifications.

Like i said, Beta 13 (which has numerous mods) still runs just fine.

If you have 2 versions of GPB installed how is :\Users\Developer\Documents\PiBoSo managed?

I deleted the Beta 13 piboso folder before installing Beta 14 for a clean install.

Beta 13 still starts just fine and asks for a key.

Perhaps windows firewall, antivirus ?

During installation I made the mistake of saving the profiles folder, caused crashes in game. After deleting everything related to GP Bikes except licence, re-installing fresh it all works fine now. Probably doesn't help you, but it can't hurt to delete all and try again.

I would like to try out new GPB version, but since Beta 14 I have also the 0x000007b problem like moeppling.
I have WIN10, 64bit.
Only GPB produces this problem.

Olaf beta14 is no longer usabe as no bike mods work with it and Piboso wont support older versions. It is your own fault if you refuse to update to beta18c

I got the 0x000007b failure message with Version 14 some years before and I got the same with version 16 and yesterday with version 18b too.

HI Olaf

It is beta 18c now and your error must be your Windows if it is happening so often with different versions of GPB

One thing is GPB uses openGL and maybe that could be an issue but you should check on your video drivers being upto date and maybe needing windows drivers for your system too.

Sorry I cant help more but those are the basic issues with windows and GPB is really an easy program to install on a windows OS.

Its a very generic error message from windows - google it and you will find you are not alone and it can occur for any piece of software.
