please dont use the sound from that horrible motocross bike that literally all 250's in this game use... cbr250r for example. pleaaaaaaaaaaase make a new sound that one is grosssssssssss

The sounds will be created with new samples from youtube vids (dunno if by me or an other guy yet) and im not sure if they will be included in the first release or in the next one.

Nice, fun, easy to ride bike. It handles the bumpy tracks well. Thanks for this!
Will there be rain tyres at a future update?

Its a great little bike, really fun to ride, which is surprising for me considering low cc bikes aren't usually my thing. I have noticed however that at full lean the exhaust goes through the ground, and also lifts the rear wheel off the ground, but doesn't affect handling at all. Its only really noticeable at slow replay speeds and screenshots, and isn't really a big issue at all IMO.

Do these bikes even run rain tyre's or is it a single compound series as it looks like a road tyre?

Well that's what I thought, but the tyres don't work in the wet :-\

must say I didn't try it in the wet, but the European Supersport300 championship uses wets. Couldn't find anything on WSSP300, assuming its the same rule-set tho.

Standart R3, without racekit

Yep atm the tires are just a soft compound (not works for wet), we did not have time to test the wet tires and so I preferred not to insert them yet, for sure in the next version with the next bike  ;)

Because in the exhaust there isnt the collision, I prefer keep without for avoid strange crashes with the high curbs or in some not flat corners.

You are right, need fix this in next version, the torus radius in the rear tire is probably slightly too high  :)

Fair enough, I can see that being an issue if it were collidable, but would it not be better to reduce max lean angle to reduce its clipping through the ground? Or to re-route the exhaust, as some turns the entire end can went through the ground for me.

Honestly tho, for an early version for there to be only 2 issues and for it to be at such a high quality already, I can't wait for the rest of the machines Keep it up  :)

atm is not possible reduce the lean angle without touching also the grips of tires, actually the exhaust is just too low, in next version i try to put a bit more high (like in real) and put a normal collision inside. thx for the reports  ;)

A large torus radius tends to create high possible lean angles - found this out trying to model narrower tyres.

As i said some post above I need change it a bit, so if it works also for the lean angle is even better, thx for the tip.

@DidietXFuera thx but I had used the second one for make the sounds before the release (are not in the release 1.0) but my problem are the perfectly loopable samples, in my tests i have a bad distortion where the audio starts again. So, or I find a solution (not luck with tutorials on youtube) or I need samples very long with the same rpm for avoid the defect.

If someone has a good method to do loopable samples (I use adobe audition) is welcome.

hello I took the liberty to add to the mascara the motorcycle headlight ...
I do not know if it's perfect but I liked it

PS.: in the template some parts of the bike are not well defined to paint ... would it be possible in the future that all fairing contours are better defined?

Blackheart, I've given you shit in the past for bad mods, dont get me wrong theyre bad LOL, but this... this is something else.

gotta give it to you mate, this is the bollocks!!! Having raced a 300 myself i can honestly say this is really really close, as close as this game allows it to be, you've got everything near on spot on! cant really fault anything beisdes the forks just hit this grey block but i suppose thats its visual, doesnt really matter.

engine is spot on, shifting is literally exactly how it is in real life too.
3d model looks great besides the forks from cockpit view but its minor.
sounds are very good, as close as you're gonna get to real life. (its very close)
tyres are good, spot on really again...
really surprised me.
Thank you for creating this.

Thank you Blackheart. This is a very nice bike to ride. And for me, is the first bike to get around Oliver's Mount without crashing 8)

I liked a lot the quality of this R3, how the suspensions moves, how the breaking engine works, all... u are really good Blackheart but the front tyre have too much grip, u can abuse too much breaking very hard in middle of the corner and that makes the bike boring for me because its impossible to crash forcing to improve the times, it seems like i am playing a Rider3 motorbike sometimes.

I like the rest of the aspects of the motorbike (the form that moves the rear tyre while u downshift is insane  ;D)

Actually the wssp300 tires have less grips of the M2 tires for example, but I understand what you mean, also for me atm its too easy. For sure the tires (both soft and rain) will be improved with the new bikes of the set.  ;)

It works! But the template only has the fairing, no bike's glass, front & rear fork, rim or even the tires.. It's crucial since the Race Number gonna use some space of the bike's glass

The "only fairing" is because is the only thing in the livery.tga, other stuff is in a lot of different textures, so I prefer not to put them editable.

For the glass, im agree I can add it (and also the front fender, i forgot this) at the template model.

The old paint template works well, the only thing that seems different is the exhaust? Or at least my skin seems to not be affected by it except for the exhaust.

Is a bit different, better (if you have your paint job without the shadows) just  copy it in the new template with the new shadows layer.

P.S. Tonight will be updated the 3d template.

Yamaha R3 Template Update.

- Added wireframe layer for the windshield (remember if you change it; example a white part bigger, also the alpha channel need the same white part)
- fixed the 3d template (for a mistake there were only the extures coordinates and not the obj file)
- Added windshield, number and mask at the 3D template.

Link download R3 Templates (same of the first post of this thread): https://mega.nz/#!QxwnTKJK!_C-ULZAWGuhEGVZu3Vb2DbhX4mDp4X3HsL3whnAFCAI

Note: Will be a short break of this set mod for work on the Panigale V4 R (thx to Joacko (http://forum.piboso.com/index.php?board=55.0), he preferred to give the project to me, so I will try to do the best possible for this amazing bike)

Thanks for this bike. Have I done something wrong installing or does this bike not work online? My friend and I just crash to desktop when we try to join a server running this bike. It works fine in testing.

It seems unlikely that it will not work online, tried the same server with an other bike?

Hey, Blackheart, just out of curiosity, will you be updating the bike model? The new version has a different look, closer to the R6 model I believe.

@adrian_melandri

Make new fairings (with the UV map) require a lot of time, and any paints for the R3 would become incompatible with a new model.

So I prefer to keep the actual model.
