I must admit Arvoss, now that some of the guys seem interested in racing with WRS, I am tempted, but I hate saloon car racing, prefer the open wheeelers like janaucarre, the F1/F2/F3, etc, etc. So I might install WRS and give it a go... I've got to beat some of you fast GP Bike guys somehow. Hehe ;D ;D

Probably but I only got 1 core after a massive crash (barrel roll 360 frontflip in the barriers) :P

on the plus side - i can pretty much keep it together with WRS cars, on the minus, i'm a bit worried that my ping might be a tad too high for decent online activities - crappy connection here in south africa... :P

Let's try it. It seems like South Africa is in the same time zone as Central Europe atm (summer time here). I'll try to be online on Saturday.

200 ms isn't really good but I think it's ok for a distance of 10.000 km.

yeah, the first time i try when reatarting, i get a 'connected' message, but that's all - it never goes past that message screen.
on subsequent attempts, i simply get 'error' message.....

Next time we'll try it in a different way.
We choose a server and car, I'll restart this server and you'll connect first. When you are fully connected you post a message (forum or PM). Then drivers with lower ping will connect too.
If there are already people at a server it's always hard to connect for people with high ping.
If you see the message "connecting" simply wait. With a bad ping it can take several minutes until it really connects.
It's "normal" that you get the message "error" after a failed connect. Best is to reboot your PC and try again.

Basically you can use the GPB tracks as well. They just need little changes for the timing to work and to make the pit and grid positions suitable for cars. Unfortunately there wasn't so much online activity with the last betas and I don't know who made these changes for the tracks available (and whether there were plans to do this for other tracks, too).

That was good earlier! :) Good to see a few cars on the track.. Beta10 feels great, With my wheel i would actually say it gives the most realistic feeling out of all the car sims iv played so far.. especially the caterham.. will be playing alot more fo sho.. 8)
