The aids stabilityhelp and leanhelp that you can activate in profile.ini, does anyone have any info on that?

Lean help basically seems to stop you leaning over the limit of the tyre. (I used it on mxb)
as for stability I am not sure.
Hmm.. I'll have to try that with directsteer.. Probably it's turned off, but it would be nice to not balance on a knifes edge in every corner.

I'm afraid not. If they're the ones I'm thinking of theyre merely 'check' boxes in the aids menu in GPB itself. What you have perhaps found is the base binary 1-0 of them?

Apparently they are disabled when running DirectSteer anyway, so no training wheels there..
