good luck !
just invest more in looks, 3/4 of the internet (I wanna say more..) care only about the graphics and ease of use.
work on sound too and the crowd will be happy :)

you're using other software to enhance the game ? like Reshade ?
do you have a custom profile in your graphics card ? you messed with some settings ? you have the latest display driver ?
what are your game graphics settings ?
you have the same problem with stock moto and victoria map ? (without the plugin?)
you must use LAA  for new big maps https://www.techpowerup.com/forums/threads/large-address-aware.112556/

WOW !
used a fresh install, kept only settings from july....with murasama worked with no crash in first couple laps, no warmup just plug and play gamepad . Tires are a lot smoother, grippy, bike overall precise and smooth operation ... great work !!! thanks ! 8)

sounds very good, but aren't these 3 cylinder engines a little maintenance/performance troubling ?  :o

I personally don't understand why Piboso doesn't switch over to using the Unreal 4 Engine SDK for his projects.... Surely a lot better foundation to work with than starting from scratch on projects?
I'd happily pay the 5% extra on the price of GPB to cover the cost of doing so.  :P ;D

Hawk

hehe I think is easier timewise to build a car from scratch than changing a game engine  ;D

look, all i am saying is that the way it works in the menu atm is counter-intuitive.
i have to leave Testing to join Testing.
there must be (because many games have it) a way to effect changes from the Testing menu screen without having to leave it.
i understand that stuff needs to be loaded in, and it can't all be done dynamically.
i'm not asking for that to happen, i'm simply asking for a change in the way the menu screen works. as i said, currently it just feels silly to have to exit Testing only to then immediately enter it again.
i have some other menu improvement suggestions, and also a request for added shortcut functionality during replays, but one thing at a time for now, i guess.
or should i just lump all my ideas into one in the suggestions thread? might do that, i think....

well currently on my desktop I have only first person shooters and open world games that change assets on the fly . For FPS is easy to swap weapons, cause firearm have small files (few polys, textures, basic animation), open world game loads every asset in RAM, and/or fades them in/out by LevelOfDetail circle, best example is GTA .
So for GP you want both, changing assets & parameters within the chosen asset, while maintaining a decent simulation environment .... kinda big task for small dev :P
I guess this will be possible software/hardware wise after the big VR wave, when anyone can afford something way better than Vive/Oculus (these 2 are stalling atm) .

General Discussion / Re: TT game announced...

is this post turning into a rant towards GP graphics ? :))
how many years Sector3 Studios/Simbin (RaceRoom , gTR, race 07  creator) used mediocre graphics but nice physics ? about 12 ? until games like AC, PC, etc came along with decent to awesome graphs
I came here for a sim (that has no substitute to date), that looks better from the past and right now has real issues regarding other stuff than visuals :P
if you still like NFS series, buy that TT  ;D   {https://youtu.be/ePpPVE-GGJw?t=1m41s}

AC for car sim, DCS for plane sim, GP for bike sim  8)

PiBoSo, hammer that code until in cuts thru wood ! :))

just look at the bike/rider shadow.... postprocess filters always show a poor quality game overall, don't bring physics in the discussion :))

Please note that F1 teams replace the built-in physics with their own.

and customers build their own cars and setups to use that whole environment :P

never endless discussion  ::)   https://forum.studio-397.com/index.php?threads/does-rfactor-2-replace-rfactor-pro-aswell.43622/

in conclusion rf pro is incomparable with any rfactor entertainment packages, because its an array of software/hardware from various tech teams ... you probably need a couple of highend PCs to run the whole thing, way too many parameters, software into software connected to another piece of software  :P not possible for gamers right now  :-[

flight sim fans are acustomed to this sandbox title ..maybe in the future available to mortals :P  http://titanim.net/www/
