Well then, excellent. Not up to Nvidia speed but such a major improvement is nothing to be ashamed of.

57 to 100, as an AMD user I'll take it :p Good job. When you say settings maxed out, you mean shaders and reflections are on, correct?

Talking about memory usage and online (I come from the MXB side but I guess it's valid everywhere).

I don't understand why you dropped the temporary model of bikes (the "ghost"). To me it would have made a lot more sense to keep the ghost but set it to being the same for all bikes. So you load it once, and everytime someone connects you simply display the ghost that you already have stored. Then next time you go to pits, you proceed with the complete loading of bike + rider. Currently (at least on MXB) each new client connecting is up to 2s frame freeze here.

Anyhow, good to know you found the hole - hoping it address the freeze on connection issue too.

You were right, thanks a lot! Looks like Beta7 changed something with loading during online session :/

That's a load optimizer right?

Should it be client or server side?

(thanks a lot for this, I'll give it a shot tonight).

Hello clean people riding on asphalt,

I come from the mud side (MXB). We have had an update this week, and since I maintain a mod pack (the OEM mod) I have updated all my bikes to point to the new tyres, and tyres to comply to new format.

However, when loading a server with those bikes, clients crash upon connection (standard windows application crash).

Of note:
- everything worked perfectly in the last beta. The amount of changes done are very minimal for current beta (either values, or add / remove one line of tyre type for example) compared to stock bikes and tyres and compared to previous beta.
- everything works offline.
- I can get single bikes chosen randomly (tried like 3 out of 10) from this pack on a dedicated server, and it works.
- If I take 2 bikes from the ones that work alone, load them on the server, and try to connect, the client crashes.

Support thread here: http://forum.mx-bikes.com/index.php?topic=1985.msg29318#msg29318

If anyone has had a similar issue and/or has any leads that I could investigate to fix my issue, I'd be very grateful.

If i may - the MXB tuto i did is asked at making your model fit to the correct geometry. Not making the geometry fit the model.

Small but crucial difference.

Also, it builds on the idea that your "axis" are already in their proper position. Getting the wheel axis of the wheel model in the middle of the wheel model (for example) is not done in bikeed buy with a text editor in the file directly. (same as with feet position etc).

Congratulations on the milestone and best of luck for the near future. I hope it picks up on Steam.

Just wanted to post "thank you" for this. I'm trying to figure out how to be as realistic as possible for models in MXBikes and this has been a tremedous help.
