Great job! Loads of fun!

Personally, I find the clutch a bit too slippery, but I never ridden a NSR 500 so I wouldn't know... :)

Thanks for all the solid information. :)

I'll be sure to follow it!

Hi everyone,

I don't know why or how but I want to learn the ropes of building bikes for GP bikes and although I am pretty much profficient in terms of Solidworks, Solidedge, SolidCam, Topsolid among others but I never ventured into the fantastic world of 3D Studio Max, Maya or Bender. And they are fundamental differences. I'm used to drawings stuff based on precise measurements, simulations or old school calculations but I'm totally out of my comfort zone when it comes to artistic modeling when you base your designs on shear creativity or pictures.

I'm following the Digital Tutors Motorcycle Modeling techniques and for know I'm just learning and still am pretty far away from building masterpieces like the ones of  Juju but I would love to hear any suggestions in how to manage my workflow, meaning after finishing the digital tutors course, what should I do. I understand the graph files ate in EDF and there separated by chassis, suspension, wheels, stand and steering so should I do each one separated like in a assembly or what? By the way, I'm using Maya, with a student license.

If I am allowed, I'll probably open up Juju files to see how he has made them although I doubt I'll understand any of it. I'm trying to use the course to build a Moto Guzzi like the sorts that Kaffeemaschine builds. We will see how that goes.... :)

Not that I know. I'll organize a Rookies Championship with 2 different classes :D Max 14/server :D

That would be brillant.

Will there be a race next weekend?

For some stupid reason, the game crashed when I was about 20 seconds from reaching my starting position. And for some other stupid reason, my computer crashed afterwords. So, no race for me.  :'(

Not too bad, I wasn't really that competitive and would have never reach top 5 so I hope you had a great race. I'll check the video.  :D

Cheers

Sorry for the mistake, but I sent the wrong skin. Could you please replace it by this one.

Hi, I'm willing to take part if there is still an available place. I think I am unable to keep up with the fastest ones but I'm willing to try.

Cheers

Marvellous work! Love it!

Well, we're on the same page. I know very little of track and bike modding but I would really love to see CLASSIC racing added to GP-Bikes.

Cheers

I've used too much braking power and I need to review the 0 - 6000 rpm range. It's messy. I'll take care of it tomorrow ASAP. I'm enjoying it, I only hope it is marginally useful.

Cheers and have a nice night

Just the person I wanted to see.  Does it bother you that I posted a slight tweak to your bike mod? I still need to work hard on it to make it proper. I would love to have some input, if you can, of course.

By the way, I can't find the name of the RSV4 creator anywhere so if you know who he/she is, please let me know.
There you have your answer. Juju is not visiting the forum very often atm so it may take some time for him to reply. Be nice because he is one of the truly great artist around here  :D

The GSXR (particularly the specific model you own) is one my favourite but too much for me to handle right now. I think I also tend towards the sports bike because I want to learn the ropes of proper riding, including taking part in some trackdays. I've got a few friends with motorcycles like the Yamaha R6, Mv Agusta F4, Honda CBR among others and they also been given me awesome advices and support.

My objective is to ride all year around, well, at least try :D.

But first thing first, I need to pass the exam and it has been 7 years since I've ridden a motorcycle and it was a dirt bike, not even a decent road motorcycle. I admit I'm a bit nervous but at the same time, ecstatic. :)

Thanks for all the support.

I've thinking a lot and being a working student, I'll probably set for a cheap old naked or sports-bike 500/600 (XJ600N, CBR600f, NTV 650 or something like that)  but I really don't have a fixed idea. I'll take a good deal if I can find it. Later on, I love Moto Guzzi but that's a bit too steep. I would love to get a Triumph Daytona 675 in a couple of years when I finish me studies and have a lot more km under my belt.

By the way, I can't find the name of the RSV4 creator anywhere so if you know who he/she is, please let me know.

Cheers
