fixed

Thank you.
Does the crash only happen when out of the track?

My core crashes hapenned both on and off track. One of the patterns i noticed, was that it used to happen mainly when I was braking heavily. Not always, but most of the times.

Yes of course! Numbers have dwindled due to timewasters lol.

I would like to race with the BMW in the Falken livery with the number 1 if possible.

What time do the races start? I can see the next one on 5th of March will be on a Monday so I might not be available to race that day if it is anywhere from 6pm to 10pm GMT

For those who have multiplayer crashes, please answer a few questions:
1) What operative system are you using?
2) What controller are you using?
3) Have you applied the ( infamous ) LAA Hack?
4) Have you tried an event at Victoria with stock bikes only?

Everyone else, an important suggestion:
server administrators should always remember to limit the allowed categories as much as possible, to limit the loading times and, more importantly, the memory usage.

Windows 8.1
Wired xbox 360 controller
Yes
Yes and it still crashes.

Resintalled Windows very recently - didn't help.
Tried running online by hosting a local server with stock bikes - didn't help
Tried running online with moto 2 - didn't help.
Tried running in compatibility mode for windows XP, Vista and 8 - didn't help.

Have you tried without the LAA hack?

Yes, the first time I installed GPB i didn't even know about LAA hack and it crashed both with stock and mod bikes

Ok  :-\
Is everything ok offline? On any track / bike combo?

Offline seems to work fine with stock and modded bikes and tracks,  apart from once or twice that it gave me a core crash when I was trying to watch a replay. But it hapenned literally once or twice

Bikes / Re: GPB bike modding wiki

Hey guys!

I have been thinking about starting to learn how to model bikes.
Do any of you work with Blender?
Or is it really necessary to work with 3dsMax because of Piboso's plugins?

I guess I'll just stick with offline for now and improve my times :) don't want to look silly in one of the championships and screw up on the first corner :P definately worth the wait  8)

hey everyone! I also been having these problems in online (and offline but quite rarely). I have reinstalled several times, used the LAA hack, made sure the bikes and tyres were there in their respective folders, set the priority to high in the task manager,  but still keep getting crashes.

At the moment im not home so I can't try different situations like hosting my own race and so on but I'll give it a try tonight and see if it makes any difference.

Although in the meanwhile i remembered somethings thay may help (I think) in overcoming the crashes.

Maybe for those who have Nvidia cards, use Nvidia inspector to alter some definitions specifically for GPB? I know i used to play a simulator (Flight Simulator X) which is quite an old game and Nvidia inspector helped immensely in reducing the amount of crashes. After crashing, the details would always point to APPCRASH.

Also in this simulator i used to play, we used to have to change the config.ini file, and add some lines to it such as HIGHMEMFIX = 1 (to allow the program to use more than 4gb of memory) and others. Obviously GPB is a different sim and has a different code so adding these lines won't fix anything, but it might be an insight to the problem?

Hope this info may be usefull for you guys ;)

Bikes / Re: Bike mod revived auto sync
February 21, 2018, 01:50:08 PM
Hey guys! I have been trying to use SyncBack but for some reason i'm not being able to sync anything.

I just keep getting error when I hit run. I have followed all the steps in the first page of this topic but somehow it does not work.

Maybe someone can give me a headsup on what i'm doing wrong here?

I have imported all the profiles, I hit run, another window pops up showing the destination folder (on the left) and the action (on the right), and when I hit Continue Run, it gives me 97 errors (the number of bikes in the profile) and does not transfer anything. Am I being really dumb here? ;D
