General Discussion / Re: GP Bikes beta12

Well I don't know how they are supposed to be compared to real life since I have never ridden one of those bikes.

But Varese and Murasama feel quite good with the new update. Compared to previous betas that is.

I will for sure enjoy! The race will be the weekend 18-20th august.

Wouldn't mind a PiBoSo sticker on the bike ;)

And thanks guys! First goal must be getting into riding a bike again, then at friday i will see if it might be possible to fight for podium, if i can back up to my speed from 3-4 years ago i am right up there within winning pace ;)

Nice, wish you much luck!
Riding is like breathing, you will be immediately on pace once you are back on the bike  ;D

Nice!
Have fun mate :)

You going to rebuild it for street or track?
I only dismantled a road R6 once but hell I know I won't reassemble one for the streets^^

I wish I had the money for a second bike (just yet). I am also pretty in love with the R1. Did you have a chance to ride the 2017 Fireblade and do you know how it compares to the R1? The new Fireblade is also said to have a handling like a 600.

Nah sry, and I propably won't test ride it. I don't want to spoil my love for the R1  ;D

But I do share tchemi's sentiment that the CBR is still ugly  :P

I honestly don't think those liter bikes are that far apart when it comes to performance. So you should atleast test ride any bike you are willing
to consider buying.   ;)

If you are only riding on the street anyway I would recommend a supermoto.
They are really awesome while being kinda less dangerous, cheaper and well maybe easier to ride.
There apparently are some lunatics that use their R1 to the fullest potential on public roads, but
if you don't those sport bikes are just expensive....and of course good looking.  ;D

Thanks  ;D

I could propably write a book about her, she is just that awesome    :D

But what stands out the most is that the power delivery is very gentle, you almost don't feel the 200hp. In terms of raw feeling even the R6 felt more powerful.
And to make the bike even more ridiculous it actually handles better than my old R6.
Someone told me that back in 2015 I only laughed because I thought he was exaggerating.
But the new R1 actually is more agile than my old R6.

The performance itself is very good, but it is while being very easy to ride.

There hardly is anything not to love on this bike  ;D

Yup, 2015 R1. Hands down best bike I have ridden yet.  8)

Tip number one- Don't crash :P

+1  ;D ;D ;)
+1^^

Was in Hockenheim with my new bike last year, 2 turns only. But already had some serious brake fading. I like to think the ABS holds me back a lot. Anyway bone stock, just taped the lights and dismounted the licence plate.
It still did some impressive lap times though. I just Love her  ;D
Guess which bike this beauty is?^^

Since I couldn't do it on sunday I'll sing up now. Didn't read anything about the track so it will be A1 Ring again right?

.. like to have a go at laptimes but its pot luck if it works or not. Just as frustrating as the core.exe crashes for me personally.

+1

Had a very nice Lap in Spa with the RSW and it wasn't recorded because the server randomly decided to stop recording laptimes.

Obvious that an immediate rage quite followed, accompanied by some manly tears.

There you have it people, DST is the new "Hardcore" no need to hide your 3rd person view preferences anymore since it is as far away from DST difficulty as is onboard view.  ;D

Been joking anyway, I started with 3rd person and couldn't ride then I switched to onboard and it worked a lot better. So all preference I think  ;)

Cry me a river...

3rd person is for girls, last time I checked I still had my balls so...
I ride onboard and I am pretty sure I know of a few others who do too.
