If its not that bad, why nobody play the stock m2 in online? Being the stock bike it should be usually played, but no one play with it because its just not good and people prefer others.

Not talking about personal opinions, talking about facts. Nobody play stock m2 and people who play it (beginners), the 30% refund because its hard and not fun (obviusly, game with that bike is that for for me being +10 years playing here). And consider that a lot of people dont know there is refund option and dont do it or when they notice they dont like they have +2hours and its late to refund, if not the % could be even worst.

We said long time ago that will happen, its because of stock bike.

If they make a refund is because they played less than 2h, with that time 99% of them just testet Moto2 bike that is unridable for all, i dont enjoy playing that bike and i play GPB since 2008 and i am sure im on the top 10-15% fastest riders here. That stock bike is harder than 99,9% of the comunity mods.

If u put a bike like Manus M2 or VSMaster M3 and put free online servers to the beginners i am sure u can improve a lot that 2 reasons of refunds. People wont feel game too difficult and will continue playing it online (so, having fun).

Consider it, its not hard to implement. It's too easy just say its people problem, correct should be make correct changues.

I think with this numbers we should re consider some things.

For me, a good idea to get tons of new players and avoid them feel frustrated and quit can be this:

Make a Free Version, with a EASY BIKE AND ONE ONLINE SERVER for beginners, as LiveForSpeed did all this years, so beginners starts with online racing versus others beginners and easy bikes, so they can have fun and dont get fustrated. After that period of adaptation, some of them will buy the full version with a base of skill to play the rest of the mods.

And some content creators can get this demo for free and make content easier of GPB, no need to ask someone for a key, buy the game and start with hard bikes, etc...

This methodology worked so well with LiveForSpeed, why dont import it here?

First of all, this topic is not to flame Piboso or the game. The objective of this topic is to get ideas to understand this behaviuour.

This game have a big potential, its the only with real physics, the only one that makes you enjoy riding a game having a close feeling.

But, the question is: having this amazing positive review ratio, why game dont grow? Not only not growing, how can this game go down in numbers?



After 9 months since the release on Steam, numbers are not good as game deserves.



Can we have the number or ratio of refunds of the game?

How can we have 97% positive reviews and game dont growing considering this game have tons and tons of bikes, skins, tracks, etc...

Why new players dont continue playing? Players who plays this since years can play less, but now we should have more players coming than quitting....

I think there is a lot of beginners that buy the game, test the moto2 that is too much hardcore to them and they refund and quit the game. Other reason can be they buy the game but dont find all the content that makes the game special, so they quit.

Why MX Bikes that is hardcore game too had this fantastic growing? What makes the difference between them? Can we learn something from them?



Maybe Piboso can share more data that make us understand why this game is not going as well at it deserves.

Motegui Turn 2 and 4

As the few mods i was thinking to use had no support from the modders to modify them with the weightes, we will just ride a normal champ. Feel sorry for the beginners and slower riders, but it wasnt possible.

Championship will start next Tuesday 11 January with the preseason test. Results of that race wont count, first countable race will be 18 January. Vote please the time, for the moment is winning 21:30 GMT+1.

Maybe Piboso can use your input to make the M2 more realistic?

If you find reviews of youtubers testing the demo major part of then dont talk very well about the game because the base bike is just bad and they dont know mods are better.

Is not that hard to take the physics of some good mod and put it into that M2 so newcomers and reviwers who just play the stock content can enjoy since minute one and talk good about the game. We cant imagine how much people this game lost because of that bike.

You seem to forget that Piboso has to abide by the laws of copyrights and intellectual property rights..... Piboso cannot just simply break those laws and get away with it like many modders do here, it would involve all sorts of complications in law for piboso to simply copy over a modded bikes data into the default stock bike for the demo.... Complications Piboso no doubt can do without.

We are talking about the physics of the M2 are not real, nobody cares about copyrighted models, dont know what u talking about ¿?

Just talk with some good modders as VSM, Javi, Manu.. and take their physics and let beginners enjoy the game since day 1. M2 bike is just not at the level of the game, seems a bit hater but its just the reality and will make people dont like the game. Anyone that just rided a bike IRL know it, its nothing new.

SRC HEAVY SERIES

We are back! From the second week of January the SRC series will return, after a little more than half a year the championship will return with a big novelty never seen before in a GPBikes championship, a novelty that will make ANY PLAYER CAN WIN, the challenge will be double for everyone...

¿What is the novelty of this championship?

This championship will with the same bike, still debaint wich one.

Fastest riders will have an extra amount of weight depending on the championship standings, now the fastest ones not only fight between them, they will fight versus slower riders too that will have less weight in their bikes! So, its a double challengue for all, yo dont fight versus your usual competitors, you fight now versus slower or fasters than you!

In GPBikes there is the problem that some minor part of riders (~10%) are so much faster than the rest, using this novelty everyone wins, fastest riders wont get bored riding versus 2-3 faster riders like them and the slower riders (90%) can have the chance to make a podium, win a race or just be closest to the fastest ones!

Extra weight system

Depending of the bike, +30kg on the chassis means +2seg slower. First race will be as usual, all same bike with no extra weight, after this first round weight system will be like this:

Before the Qualify session we will check first 6 riders have the correct bike, if some of the 6 first riders choose a bike with less weight and we dont notice it their race points will be zero and wont race next week.

It is very easy, if you are 5th in the championship yo choose "Bike name 10KG".

We know more experienced riders that usually are the fastest ones ride safe during races, so please, for those slower riders that will be closer or can fight with fastest one thanks to this system, please be fair and race safe!

¿When will be the races?

Races will be during week, you have to vote on the #vote-please channel.

Riders who have raced 70% or more races of the SRC Moto2 will have x2 value vote, that riders are: Davide, Adalgood, LucoideRock, Lluiset, Manu, Javiliyor, Pableke, Lickie, Mimo750, Sergio4AB, Peoples, TheCrivi.

A partir de la segunda semana de Enero volverán las SRC series, después de algo mas de medio año el campeonato volverá con una gran novedad nunca vista antes en un campeonato de GPBikes, una novedad que hará que CUALQUIER JUGADOR PUEDA GANAR, el reto será doble para todos...

¿En que consiste la novedad de este campeonato?

Este campeonato será con la misma moto, queda por confirmar cuál.

Los pilotos que son mas rapidos serán lastrados según clasificación del campeonato, haciendo que no solo tengan que luchar entre ellos, sino contra el resto de pilotos mas lentos que tendrán la ventaja de tener menos lastre, es decir el reto es doble ya que no tienes que luchar solo contra los pilotos que habitualmente son los mas rapidos, sino que tendrás que luchar también contra los pilotos lentos ya que al llevar menos o ningún lastre estarán en tu ritmo.

Los pilotos mas lentos que solo pueden soñar en ganar, ahora tendrán una gran oportunidad de hacer algún podio o incluso luchar por la victoria! El objetivo de este sistema es igualar la parrilla y que sea un verdadero reto para todos estar lo mas delante posible.

Sistema de lastre

La primera carrera será normal, todos con la misma moto, a partir de la segunda carrera los pilotos iran lastrados dependiendo de su clasificación general.

Al inicio de la tanda clasificatoria se revisará que los 6 primeros pilotos de la clasificación han escogido la moto correcta. Si un piloto escoge una moto de menor lastre y no nos damos cuenta el resultado no contará y no podrá correr la próxima semana.

Ya conocemos que los pilotos mas experimentados y rapidos suelen tener un buen comportamiento en carrera, asi que por favor los pilotos sin lastre que gracias a este sistema puedan estar delante pedimos que tengan un buen comportamiento en pista! Las colisiones con otros jugadores serán penalizadas duramente.

¿Cuándo serán las carreras?

Las carreras serán entre semana, hay que escoger por votación día y hora.

Los votos de los pilotos que hayan participado en más del 70% de las carreras de SRC Moto2 contaran x2, los pilotos con voto doble son: Davide, Adalgood, LucoideRock, Lluiset, Manu, Javiliyor, Pableke, Lickie, Mimo750, Sergio4AB, Peoples, TheCrivi.

You are doing something wrong DD, everyone is converting key to Steam with no problem.

1) Go to this link and put the email of the Paypal you used to buy the game and the gpbikes key, then click Submit.

2) When u click submit you get a NEW KEY, you need that key to activate the game on Steam.

3) Open Steam, go to Products -> Activate Steam Product and put the NEW KEY and press Submit.

4) Download the game on Steam, you will have to copy your mods to the new directory C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\GP Bikes

Hope you can convert it, you did a lot of work for this game during a lot of years!!

I really love to see GPBikes on Steam and having this level of physics, optimization and little helps for beginners.

But  it's still unbelieble that the M2 stock bike can be that unreal.

Can anyone explain me why just braking in 3rd gear the rear tyre slides like a hell? Even with a long gear like 4th it slides just braking without downshifting! It's just nosense, not a the level of the game and should be fixed becuase its the first impression new players will have and its just obviusly unreal.

Sad to hear that words from one who played this game since first betas, u are not a kid maybe u should think in start to mature a bit.
