Are you able to simulate High and Low Speed Compression Damping on the rear suspension in GPB,MXB?
Is it possible to add this feature?
Right now we are "only" able to adjust the rear compression damping in general.
I´m asking because most of the rear dampers used in Sport Bikes / GP / SBK / MX  have the possibility to adjust seperate High and Low Speed compression damping on the rear damper.

Just want to know if someone is working on the "new" Assen layout (it´s a defivitive miss because MGP is racing since years on that track layout and we still hav eto use the old version)
Zolder is juat a personal favourite and it will be cool to have it either.

@Piboso
Could you explain why the mod bikes are not refused (data mismatch) if they did not use the chassis flex in the *.cfg?
If the lines are not in the *.cfg which effect does it have on the bike? is an "override" faktor used or is the flex at all not used when the lines are missing?

Just another upcoming mod in the near or far future.
Driving the Aprilia RSA makes a lot of fun (great work ODI) BUT it would be more fun to have a few more of the agile 2 strokes.
Easier to ride than the 500cc beasts and enough power to keep up with the 600cc WSS bikes.

Physics / @ Piboso - Maximum Tyre amount

Am i right that the Maximum of different Rear Tyre Patterns is up to 6?
I have 7 different Rear tyres in my cfg file but only 6 are Displayed ingame.
Thought there is no Limit....
Could the Limit be increased?

Racing / Lap Times WSS

As the Hotlap servers are down, can someone tell me the fastest laptimes of the WSS at Aragon, Victoria and BrnoGP?
I set a 1.32.122 with the R6WSS and Medium tyres on Victoria but did not know if this on is good or not? This was not a perfect lap...could be a 31.9 imho...did two little mistakes.
I just want to know if i need even more improvement.....
And i wan´t to compare to the real lap times.
The 1.32.1 is abit too fast so i will change the tyre files to match it close to the real lap times.... ;)

Would like to know how many core.exe are existend with Nvidia 4xx and 5xx graphic cards?
Please tell the specific graphic card model and the installed driver number.
I don´t want to know when they happend!

Speaking in terms of Realism it would be nice to adjust the TCS (and maybe Antiwheelie) When Out on Track. Switchable Map is nice but i Miss the ingame TCS Feature to equal a degrading Tyre.
Feature is present on all modern MotoGP and Superbike Bikes so it has to be in a Motorcycle Sim. Furthermore it is present in One of the competitor Games (which are Miles away simulating a decent response of the Bike compared to GPB!!).

Ok. maybe i´m a bit fussy but:
On almost all bikes in the showroom the rider is placed too much forward. The right foot is not on the footrest.
The Murusama rear brake disc is untrue (and so on most of the murusama based modded bikes), best seen in replay focusing from the side of the rear wheel.

The rear wheel on the MSM125 is not aligned to the rear axle.

We have wet tyres and rain but no wet suits  ;)

Could you please add an additional menu in the garage for the change of the brake Master cylinder Diameter?
We can add different diameters but could Not use them right now ;)

Bikes / Question: Modding / WIP List

I know there are a few mods/WIP out there on different forums (Piboso, Motoonline, GPBikesItalia,..).
In my opinion it would be perfect to list all the currect WIP mods within one link / topic to have a better overwiev what is still under development and what already have been done.
I think we should devide it in 3Dmodels and Physics.
This list can also be used by modders to get easier contact with each other.
The ones creating 3D models mostly do not attempt to create the physics and vice versa.
It would also help to see which 3d models or physics are already under development so modders do not waste time in development of the same stuff or (the other side) can interact with each other.
This List should be sticky and listed as Number 1 in the Modding-Bike section.
It´s not funny to see after a hard work of development that the bike or physics already exist by another modder (not knowning someone else already working also on this project)  ;)

What do you think?

Could Piboso please explain where to find the rake setting?
I would like to set the rake to only one fixed angle (e.g. 23) without the option to change that.
The only term i can find was in the "steer" parameters , there is "Rakeanglesetting". But there is no range to define, like in the damper or springs settings.
So how can i get the rake fixed to one value?

Someone playing GB-Bikes on a laptop and can tell me his hardware?
i´m thinking to invest in a laptop besides the desktop i am using.
Using an older laptop (its not a gaming laptop and uses shared memory for graphics) for development of the CBR1000 engines but can only play in reduced window size and all graphic on low on this one. Even with that setting i have stutter in framerates.
Don´t want to buy a new one but there must be used systems which can suit my needs.
Or is it possible to remove the landscape and play on track only?

For those who are not familiar with the different tyre brands and the Pirelli tyres:
Street is riding on Michelin Street tyres. Size 120mm front and 190mm rear (since V02).
Superstock is riding on the Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa (based on the FIM Superstock Rules 2013). Size 120mm front and 195mm rear, no qualifiers (not allowed acc. to FIM Superstock Rules)!

Front: (Pirelli label - Piboso label)
SC0 - soft
SC1 - medium
Rain - wet
Rear: (Pirelli label - Piboso label)
SC0 - soft
SC1 - soft-medium
SC2 - medium
Rain - wet

Now developing the other engines.....will be available via Map-Switch (hopefully).
Map0 will be STD, Map 1 will be Track prepped, Map2 will be HRC Kit 2008 and finally the World Superbike engine on Map3 :-)
It´s more time consuming than i astimated....
I don´t know if it is possible to get transmission restrictions connected to different MAP settings or if it is only possible to the bike mod itself.
Normally you don´t have the possibility to change the gear ratios on the STD and Track prepped engines, you can change the sprockets only. Different gear ratios are only available for the HRC kit and World Superbike engine.

FYI:
I´m using the 2008 (RC59 - CBR1000RR) data because i have all data and specifications available for that bike in all different versions (as described above map0-3). I know that the 2012 engines in STD spec are a little bit stronger than 2008......

P.S.
If someone wonders why the power curve is flat from to 10500-13400 rpm....-> the engine is "restricted" by ignition retarding. You can easily get more power with advanced ignition ;-)

I will keep this threat updated.

Could someone explain why this was implemented?
I can´t shift downward as before?
Most of the time i lock the rear and crash?
It´s totally different to beta 3.

My personal wishlist:
- Force Feedback Support for Acceleration, Braking,....
- Have the opportunity to adjust the coolant temperature manually (most Racebikes have big race radiators and did not have a Thermostat installed anymore, so you have to tape the radiator to adjust engine coolant temperature, especially for the two-strokes 125cc and 500cc it was necessary to get the right coolant temp for maximum horsepower and to prevent a seized engine - if it runs too cold... ) -> yes sounds a bit hardcore... ;)
- Night race (i know this will not be easy, because we have to add working light and beams to the bikes and into the game) -> yes i am a fan of endurance racing  :)
- Intermediate tyres and different tyre compounds (not only soft and hard, i would like to have real qualifiers, up to three different compounds aof soft, intermediates and hard tyres)
- Drying track and changeable weather.
- Ghost Rider (would be helpfull when looking for the best lap time) - you can see on the fly where you´re better or worse than in your best lap. Helps to improve getting better and better  ;)
- tbc....

I know that most of it will not be implemented into the game but i keep fingers crossed  ;D
Suggestion: Maybe we can collect more wishlists and after all we can have a vote for the top 3 of the wishes which Piboso or Modders can try to get into the game?
