Hey all, ....it's been a while.

Can anyone help me, or point me to the correct thread please?

My default mods location (C drive, documents, piboso, mods etc..) I would like to relocate to another drive. My OS is on the C drive and im running super low on space.

Any help would be much appreciated thanks so much !

Hi all,

I don't know if this thread will drop like a brick? but.. can anyone recommend other games/sims that are more independent like as GP Bikes? Games that are not necessarily on Steam.

I know games like 'DCS world' are on Steam, but its recommended you download from their web page as you receive more content and they have a great online community too. If you like fighter jets, ww2 planes and general aviation on a serious level i highly recommend it. Games like MS Flight sim just don't come close.

So can anyone else recommend anything on early access, Alpha, Beta, etc thats worth checking out?

For me so far i can recommend...

GP Bikes - (of course)
DCS World - (reason why i bought a gaming PC) Download from 'Eagle Dynamics' website
Next Car Game, Wreckfest - (amazing physics, reminds me of Destruction Derby. Still in Early Access) On Steam.

I have a couple more, but ill see what others write first.

So as some of you may know i seem to be having core.exe crash more than most people. I have done re install etc.. etc.. and still its the same.

I did mention in a previous post that if im travelling fast and approaching the end of a straight, panic! and slam both breaks on then this seems to be when the crash happens. Ive been convinced its when i touch the back brake?... so i have unassigned the back brake and all seems to be working fine for now!.. ill keep playing tonight and see what happens.

i do hope this helps other people having the same problem?.. of course it means you dont have a back brake, but then who needs it?

I did try lots of other things like changing replay buffer size, using race only mode, re install and none of this worked for me.

How do i create a brand new Users\UserName\Documents\PiBoSo folder without old profiles, replays etc attached?

When deleting beta10 before installing beta11, I deleted the PiBoSo folder and the game would not run.. i was thinking that installing beta11 would replace this PiBoSo folder with a new one... Ive since put back the old PiBoSo folder just so the game works... however i would like it to be a complete clean install.

Can anyone help?

Can somebody please educate me on the .ini file?
I think i have located the file sitting in the c:/gpbikes install directory correct?

I have some questions...

do i simple open the .ini file using notepad, make changes then save?
and what are the replay buffer sizes? whats the range? 10 to 500???
and finally what does the replay buffer size do? what changes will i see?

So im having core.exe crash more often than not...

When i first started using GP Bikes about a week ago i was falling off every corner and i never really had core.exe crash, but now I'm getting better it seems that if I execute say the final left turn of Victoria perfect and the bike is screaming down the straight the graphics i can see start to frame drop I touch the brakes and sure enough i get a core.exe crash... so it seems to happen when a lot is going on during game play.

So my question is how do i reduce core.exe from happening? I see people change the replay buffer size and it seems to help? how do i change the replay buffer size?

I'm riding offline, using suzuki gsx-rr and track victoria. happens on both beta10 and the new 11.

So to update to beta11 do i re download and overwrite install the sim again? will this keep all my mods etc.. or do i need to put them back after? And is there any info regarding whats new in beta11?

Also whats the difference between NDS tracks and non NDS?

Im slowly noobing my way out of these thing with all your help!

So im having a little trouble... im working with a Motogp Suzuki bike template that consists of 5 PSD files.. the names are..

carenado.psd
rim.psd
windshield.psd
c_carenado.psd
c_windshield.psd

Once i have finished editing the files in photoshop i save each PSD as a .tga keeping its original filename? (eg. carenado.tga) is this correct?

Once i open the 5 .tga files in 'painted' the program crashes when trying to convert to .pkt files.

I have successfully edited a leathers .psd file template and converted to .pkt with no problems, however this is only 1 file not 5. I also know to name the .tga as 'rider'

Can anyone tell me what im doing wrong?

Also why are the files repeated in painted? eg.  (._windshield) etc???

So i have made a custom rider skin using the PSD template provided... my question is, how to i compress all the layes and end up with a .pnt file?
I've worked with DDS before but never .pnt!

Any help or pointing to a thread would be much appreciated.

As im still learning to do at least one lap without crashing Im switching between manual and auto gearing.
The problem im having is, when using auto gears and the bike is on a slight angle (such as corning) the gearing wont change until the bike is upright.. this even happens on long sweeping corners that should allow this... can anyone help me?

Hi all,

So i use on board view 95% of the time, however i like to use the external view from time to time.
My question is... how do i pan the view around the bike while in external view? I use a Xbox one controller.
Under the simulation tab i have selected 'joystick' under free view options... however this just seems to turn his head (using right stick on the controller) and not pan around the bike?
Has anyone info on what i can do?
