General Discussion / Constant Crashing.

Constantly crashing trying to open the garage, save a setup, and even go to track.

how many years til its fixed?
Since beta 14, GpBikes crashes constantly, all axis' on my controller are not being registered with the game, it still works perfectly with every single game that i have, now besides GpBikes.
i am using a ps3 controller, but like i said, works perfectly with every other game, including many early access games.

The game becomes more unplayable after every update. I'm really loving this right now. Beta 14 has literally rendered the game unplayable for many people.

Probably gonna have to wait a few months for an update which is the most annoying part.
only when i turn the view distance to high, at random points of different tracks, (only usually 1 or 2 small parts of the track) i get frame drops. but i never used to get these?!

I have vysnc on ,everything else on highest.

This is my Profile.ini GFX. Is anything out of the ordinary?!

I was thinking about the texture size and filter, i may have changed them at some point?? im not sure?

theres a link to a tool which is recommended  to change the tyre files with... does ANYBODY have this??? tyres have been confusing me since day 1 and im literally desperate.
im startiong to get to grips with it all but still cant get my head round tyres...

Paints / Any way to preview whilst in progress?

im looking if theres a way to preview the bikes skin without having to compile it and view it in game...
this would shave soooo much time off for me, i use photoshop to do all of it.

If anybody knows a faster way to see the paint on the 3d model without having to go in game that would be great.

Alright, please dont take this as an insult of any kind, im just trying to help you improve in future updates. And sorry if you didn't wanna hear any more of this, i tried to post on the topic but its locked :(

First of all, this bike is wayyyy too easy to ride. comparing it to your sbk 2017, its just too easy.

It doesn't slide enough on the rear when you're accelerating through corners, going from low revs to high revs. the power band feels like the SSP600?! Defo too much grip on the rear. (too linear, not sure if thats the correct word, but not aggressive enough)

Considering your sbk17's ducati will literally flip over at 180mph, this 500 doesnt wheelie enough.

I think the italian mod team needs to concentrate on QUALITY over quantity.
If manu (again i dont know if its a group of people or just a single person, im assuming its one person) can produce such high quality content, there is little reason why italian mod team cannot. with your name implying there is more than one of you.

I am disappointed in this bike. i expected it to be a handful when it just wasnt.

And another thing. PLEASE do not base the handling of a bike from a onboard from some random rider. it is not at ALL a representation of the bikes capability. find a professional rider who has spent alot of time with a bike and look at their onboards, not some random who has spent a morning on it getting used to it. find someone who isnt scared to throw it down the road and is pushing its limits.

I could say more, but i wont. i appreciate the mods so much. without them the game wouldn't be what it is today. so thank you. again, im trying to help with improvements. not trying to bash anybodys hard work at all.

Wondering If these are being looked into by anybody or if anybody even has some sort of interest with them?
If i could do it myself i would give it a go. I don't have the knowledge to even begin creating these.

Myself and 2 others have/still race the Kawasaki Ninja 300 at club level and can help whoever tries creating these, providing dyno sheets similar to the bikes they use in WSSP300. and feedback on handling.
Well here's mine:

I want some PPPPHAT highsides. Ones that can only be described as 'spanked'.
Also some wicked saves would be mint to look at! Show me them all!

I stream quite often, i pretty much stream every time i play GpBikes with friends, and sometimes when im just practicing by myself. Sometimes stream other games such as assetto corsa, and soon ill be doing endurance races on iRacing, i just need to save up the money for that ;)


If you wanna stop by thatll be great, maybe teach me a few things or maybe learn, i really dont know what im trying to achieve by streaming, im just doing it cos i can :D

Just wondering if there is any planes in the far future or at all of piboso thinking of improving the look of the game, maybe even taking people on to help him develop the game faster.
i was literally in the shower thinking of GpBikes and how good the game would be (its already my favourite bike game) if the textures were updates, the shading was better, and things like that. i have no clue how he'd go about doing it, but i think its something we can all look forward to in the next few years, at least i hope so anyway.
Im excited for when the games physics are polished enough for him to look into the aesthetics more, as im sure everyone else is...

i know its difficult to improve them without effecting literally everything in the game, bikes would most likely have to be remade, tracks too.
imagine piboso makes victoria again, with new textures etc. and then creates his own trackbuilder which obviously wouldnt be easy, but just imagine. Then goes ahead and puts the track textures, curb textures etcetcetc into it, also allowing people to create their own and post them onto the forum for others to download and use.

with these sorta ideas being used in some way or another i genuinely think GpBikes will be the bike version of assetto corsa, not only looks great but with physics that are spot on.

I made another 2 using an old ZX6R Paint, Again, removed all the stickers, and changed all the colours to my own liking. (and my mate's)
If you want the paint i used initially to create my own, i can upload it too. i did find them here though, in the old SSP 600 championship thread thing.

The start line DQ Bug still exists unfortunately.

Hopefully see a fix for this in the future from PiBoSo, or maybe a workaround of some sort.
