Happy New Year to start with and thank you for all your great work and efforts to make GPB what it is.

I rarely need to ask for something but now I need to.


I have a few new Motion system builds to make and one will be a 2017 Honda CBR1000RR SP1



I am using the original Livery Sticker kit and would like to give the guy the same bike to ride in GPB.
There is a Mod in GPB, but old. The best one is the " WorldSBK17_Honda_CBR1000RR"  by the  Italian Mod Team. So.................Firstly the easiest one is for a Livery Set MOD, BUT has any of you got a newer bike mod at all?

For the Livery Mod, is it possible it change the other parts of the bike to be like in the picture. Also there are no lights on the body kit. It is a real racing set from Spain.

I hate to ask as I know how busy you guys are, but I just want a new GPB rider to really feel like he is riding his motion system ingame.

I am also working on a serious project for rider trainig using GPB and before I talk to Piboso about it, I need to find out if it can be done. One thing I need is certain Road bikes used in traning shcools around the world to even start trying to do this project. ANYONE up for the task? I am also trying to get it funded to pay for the work and time.

I have started chatting to a Modder here about a Map for GPB and we are going to experiment a wee bit, now I can really start to use my old YouTube video crazy nickname of "DD Von Frankenstein" LOL

Hoping to get some help in GPB from Piboso, but thats a hard one.

Well that some of my plans and one project for now, BUT just as I wrote that, I had a thought...............

How about a simply friendly compatition for the best livery on the original "murasama_rc990_03" as a tribute to Piboso and to advertise GPB in videos on YouTube and Twitch. The reason I say this bike is My first sit-on and now motion system is that exact bike so it wiould be better for videos except my livery is old and not for GPB as He dont make sticker kits lol, oh another idea lol.

Please think about it guys and maybe it would be fun for you all too.

So this is actually a serious request. Not only do I need a certain custom "track" but also someone else who I wont disclose at the moment but he is involved with MotoGP simulators officially and has asked me to try and sort a sim for Streetbikes and training. This is just a shot in the dark but hoping one of you brilliant track modders can help.

Assetto Corse has some MODS for open world maps and h106frp converted the Nordschliefe to make "Nords".

I have problems typing with hand problems and really need to TALK to somone to do this.

This is not expected to be a freebie of a job. I just need to find out to start with if somone could actually do it.

Is h106frp still about as it says he hsa not logged in since 2022 or has he changed name? If you know how to contact him please let me know.

As the title says, it is time that Piboso really wakes up on fixing GPBokes and Quest 2/3 issues as the new Windows 24H2 KILLS the Windows Mixed Reality compatability!!!!!

If you dont update we might be able to use WMR headsets until 2026 but not guarenteed!

Not only this, BUT WHY should owners of the Quests have issues when all Piboso has to do is try and fix it, but he/she has not said aa word and I feel really left hanging after so many years of supporting Pibosoas much as I can.

PLEASE Piboso, let us know what you are doing about this and any other updates as you have just left us all hanging without any new update info.

Thanks in hoping for some kind of reply or action.

Hi guys, so, I was surfin the web for enviroments for open world on bike and came accross a load in Assetto Corsa. The bikes physics suck balls in a way but its a blast. Here is my first try in VR with a BMW1000RR, yeah its terrible riding as it seriously aint GPBikes lol. Anywho my point for it is that AC tracks can be converted to GPBikes and its cool to test them before you would and here is the sollution.
I have been having a blast and the fact its great VR and onlinre to or AI makes it something different. I am Hardcore GPBikes but fun is fun and AI and racing cars is a challenge GPBike dont have. Just enjoy the video and laugh at me lol.

So....for years I wanted to have a simple hall sensor clutch, but because I need a design that is simple, robust and not ugly to start with and then must survive shipping and years of use it has taken a while to get it right. I am looking at making my own helicopter control system and was watchin a video and got an idea..........and it works. I took the principle as I have never really got it right with hall sensor setup but this video gave me an idea.

So, I am having trouble posting pics on the forum for some reason but got a video that shows the basics. I though I would share it so others can use the simple setup with the right cluch lever unit and N50 magnets and a hall sensor.

Leo Bodnar has the best price on the hall sensors and you can find the N50 8mmx5mm round magnets on ebay.

I use a certain design of lever sets and you can find them on ebay too.

Hope this helps someone out.

So been trying to do videos of my BMU (body motion unit) but having trouble with steam for days, but finally got a better one made. Parts 4 is just to show it but part one really explains it so here is part 4.

Dont judge my riding I am burnt out from the agro I have had with steam and just wanted to get a short video out.

Next one will be on my CBR1000RR sit-on with the buttkicker2 and should be fun.

I Own 2 licence keys but how can I use both if only 1 steam account.

I need to be able to use both so I can have 2 riders in 1 room race each other on my simulator systems.

Steam VR suck massive donkey balls!!! It SUCKS!!!

Since I built a new PC and had to install all new has not been an issue and OpenXR for VR works great but Since I installed GPBikes via Steam I have real agro............Stand alone works fine

1. Simple point, old version would stay fullscreen in VR on my 4K main monitor, now it reduces to a piddly 1080p? So cant record the actual VR view in 4K!!!

2. Steam will just not always load controller, where the stand alone always does

3. SteamVR demands a lower resolution than OpenXR and is still shite

4. SteamVR is so fussy to set up and often while steam decides it needs to update it screws your settings..........start again with the crap setting

5.SteamVR causes WMR users to run 2 programs where openXR you only need the WMR Portal

6. Steam takes control of how you setup your games and anything concerned with them!!! .....Hence VR sucks

7. OpenXR is Heaven

8. Any help to sort it out would make me your best mate...........pretty please

Sorry but Steam is like Milestone, monopilizing the industry and only for themselves not us and they just think about console users and gamepads not real simmers like us..........shame

Plain and simple anyone know how as it has not been posted that it is easy to find and I cant ride online with mods in beta 19b with friends so..............PIBOSO please post a clear and difinitive way to have mods in beta20!!!

How do we install mods now???

Not a happy bunny as you have not posted how to do this and I cant use my last beta where I can use mods to race online

Sereously not happy too little info so please post a full way to go from non steam to steam or even non steam with mods or I am stuck using it offline and after paying twice not happy

Edit........... So it seems system reboot and more involved but bikes from beta 19b dont work in 20 as selecting one and thats YOUR GP1000 that worked in b19b dont work now? Sorry but we need solid info not just a bit of it.

Hi guys, so my Windows Mixed Reality Portal Mirror is not working and cant find out how to turn it back on. It was working but due to updates it is no longer working so cant record my headset view for youtube anymore.

Any help?

Tried IOM TT2 in VR lastnight and LOVE it but steam is only way to mirror for VR as my WMR portal is not mirroring for some reason so bit of a bummer. Heres a video anyways.

The last Windows update messed a few things up and cuts x360 out once in a while so I end up eating bushes!!!

So, as we are still in lockdown and all struggling I decided to start a 2021 Developement thread.

This year I will be designing and building a full FFB Directdrive and Realistic and Moderate motion Sit-On system and changing the design of the Desktop system.

I am also updating with the Body Motion Unit (BMU) for rider control and hopefully more.

To Start with here are a few pics of where I work from last week.







And a sneak peek at the Yamaha R1 I am just building




As it has no fender or swingarm I used the stickers to jazz it up a bit as thats what Randall wants.

So its been a while and am so busy I just forget to do stuff and not posted a video here in a while so thought I need to start again.

First one up is me testing the Yamaha R1/M1 Sit-On Hs3 PRO-HE in VR and trying the great mods from you guys. I yak for the first 8 mins so fast forward it if you want to shut me up a bit lol.

Thanks to all you modders you make GPBikes what it is.

So all riding is in default settings on all bikes and sometimes gets squirly lol

I love the HP Reverb G2 VR unit it frickin rocks and never feel one bit queezy even after a case of beer (found that out new years eve lol)

Hope you enjoy me making a fool of myself, I never said I could ride a bike lol
