Hello,

I've been away from playing any games for a long time but may be getting back to the hobby soon. I've recently came across a flight stick and was wondering about their functionality with GP Bikes, if anyone has had success with them. I found a couple of example photos of what I was thinking about, online:

The original mod only had a handful of bikes from the early 90's (Doohan & Gardner's 1992 Honda, Lawson's 1992 Cagiva, Schwantz's 1993 Suzuki and Kocinski 1994 Cagiva) so I decided to expand the grid. I created new content focusing between 1991 through 1993 and fixed/tweaked existing source Milestone textures to create additional (very high-quality) bikes and riders for a few of the teams in the GP 500 mod. This means both bike and suits (sometimes including scratch-made helmets, boots, and normal maps). As a bonus, I have also recreated paints for stock suits for both Norifumi Abe's 1993 All Japan and Valentino Rossi's 2004 non-tobacco variant. Sadly, all bikes have the same performance (by design of the original mod), so you won't be able to enjoy the different characteristics of each - but at least they'll look very good!

If you already have the GP 500 mod, you can choose to only download the 500cc expansion. If you don't, you can download the complete v1.5 pack. Both will install and load ingame, with rider-specific helmets and suits neatly organized as well. PS: You will need to get the Modern Rider model and Helmet megapack (both available through the link below in the Extras folder) to correctly load all textures.

For the additional content, I have re-arranged all relevant textures (bikes, riders, helmets) to their respective bike/rider folders (Cagiva 1991 and 1992 paints are in the C592's folder) and deleted irrelevant textures such as forum user skins or modern paints from the packs. This means a few Gb are saved in the process and the folders are better organized. The folder structure is compatible with the latest GP Bikes update, so this is drag and drop into your Piboso folder in My Documents. All files are safe to overwrite originals without risk of online mismatch.

You are welcome to redistribute my work but you must provide credit to the additional bikes, suits, and helmets I've created (as I've done crediting the original mod for some sources), preferably providing the readme file and a link to this topic.
