General Discussion / Force feedback 20b
December 25, 2021, 01:35:55 PM
I'm using a G29 wheel and it's force feedback for steering the bike. Since the 19c (I belive) the FF has been decreased alot in force. I recon there are people playing hardcore and almost don't move their input but I use my wheel to feel the wheight of the bike and input from it. I use the FF in reverse so that I can feel the wheight of the bike when I move from side to side.
Now, There are some good updates in 20 versions but I would like to keep my harder force feedback. Are there any way to do this or somewhere to increase it's values? I know the 0-150% in settings of course, but 150% now is like 20% in the 19 version.

Thanks in advance!

General Discussion / Re: 20 and 20b crashes

Thanks for your reply VS.
I did some research and after placing all the mods in Documents/PiBoSo/GPBikes/Mods it seems to work. Just copied all mods (about 70GB). It also starts the game much faster now. When I had everything in the same folder I could take several minutes.

So, clean install in separate folder and all mods in Documents/PiBoSo/GPBikes/Mods folder worked for me.

Happy new racing year, mates!

General Discussion / 20 and 20b crashes
December 25, 2021, 12:04:57 PM
So I've tried to install the 20 and also the 20b versions
When I try to start practice the frame freezes and then crashes the game, sending me to windows.
It started after moving my bikes, tracks etc, into the 20 veersion. Are the folders in the wrong place? I can choose bike and rider in the menu. As I wrote, the problem occurs when I try to start riding.
Any ideas? Thanks.

After I installed the 19 version my riders dissapeared. I've checked the forum for where thay shoul be, and they are there. They just dont show in the game. Also the new riding styles are gone.
I tried to copy all my tracks, riders etc. and did a clean install. Copied everything back, after verifying on the forum guid, where to put it. Didn't help. Please, help. Thanks.

The only thing you can do is activate rider tracking so the rider moves. This doesn't turn the bike much though, as you have noticed.
What version did you have before?

I'm not sure wich version I had before this one. All I know is that it was very smooth and easy to control the bike by leaning.
It seems that I'm also is given riding lessons here. Well, release the handlebars and lean, see what happens.. I can stand on one footpeg too and do those things but you have to hold back the bike on the bars so it won't turn. I know hot to ride a bike, trust me..

Thanks for replying guys. Yes, I'm the creator of the MotoGP sim.. but I'm currently on another project.
I'm pretty sure that a bike will start to turn if you lean to the side of it.. Yes, It speeds it up if you countersteer, but that's not my issue. This is a gamerelated issue. I'm pretty sure that before I downloaded the last update I could control the bike really smooth by just leaning my head to each side so the rider moved (he still does) but the bike won't follow. I have to steer the bike itself to start turning. Before I could combine those two into a harmony of riding.

Virtual Reality / VR Steering
June 22, 2020, 08:25:41 PM
Hi Guys. I've been around playing but not active on the forum until now. Yesterday I updated VR bikes to the last version.
What I can't figure out is how I got VR-tracking/steering to work before. I've tried in every possible way tonight, but I can't get the bike to steer. I can see that the rider is following my head, but the bike stays uright. Please refresh my memory of where I can activate it, and feel free to share some other settings regarding the advanced settings etc. I've done som search but couldn find the specific "click" that made the bike turn.
Thanks in advance!
