So just a thought here, are you looking at replicating a certain indoor venue or require it to be done , imagin the numbers possible esp if you look at the virtual event the features would get alot of people interested. If in the future enough modding group's were to join wrs could make it really true to life and everyone could build their own cars then use some generic files to make the cars even and have a true chilli bowl

Hey TFC,

I started out with 1025 but the detail was diminished because my infield only has a small raise and when I'd render it, it would blue the infield section to a black line which would make the infield not render right when I map. Bat so I started playing with higher and higher resolution and it was only when I got to 8163 the detail was perfect. I don't know what to do after I've done the map.bat so I haven't tested beyond that however my example.map is over 100mb

Hey everyone,

So I've been playing with height maps and getting the best resolution, and I've noticed that as I bump up the dimensions my resolution gets better ten fold my question here is, is there a maximum for dimensions currently I'm at 4096x2 and I've got wrs to generate a map am I at the max now?

hey piboso,

its more related to the fact the sun has gone down and because the sun has gone down and the humidity comes up the track drys at a slower rate

Hey piboso,

Down the line is there potential for additional properties for surfaces to be introduced so currently we have thickness but could there be the potential for

compact (so the compression of the surface so more compression less speed on deformation until it reaches a threshold.

Water base (define how wet or dry a track is the wetter the track the less dust until it reaches a threshold of a line like drying line)

Is there any plans to introduce the ability to create night lighting for tracks and if there is could there be the potential for it to effect the way tracks deform

Hi everyone ,

im working on a track atm ive done a model and now im trying to make a height map of my model however im having alot of dramas with quality and even being able to generate a heightmap correctly.



this is what i have so far , i have black on the curb on one end then on the other its light just really unsure what to do any ideas?

im just approaching this in the same way we would approach a rfactor issue i wonder if perhaps the suspension rods are attached to something their not supposed to be

Looks alot like the spr midget (not passing judgement) if it's a midget it would be a fantastic platform for people to come online with more mods
