Total modesty dibu this is uncharted water for me I know what I can do
In rfactor and rfactor2 (image below from rfactor 2 it's speedway city in Adelaide sa)
I feel really excited about wrs and I do believe that it could be the new destination for speedway.



Good effort dibu it's about a 11 second lap in a sprintcar

Rookie error apparently. I sent the track to dibu and he found I hadn't closed the centreline. He also noted I made a few other errors all things I'll learn from. In which case here's the start of the Perth motorplex.

Hi piboso,

I saw you have a sprintcar in the works and as a modder of soly speedway content got so e suggestions but as there's so may I condensed them.

1, need a new track material like loose dirt that blows off to reveal the harder race surface.
1a,  a harder race surface that dose take some deformation but at a certain point begins taking rubber like a tarmac track.

2, allow for beginning grip levels that increase as track takes rubber /behaves like dirt

3.as speedway predominantly takes place at night ability to set night races and have dynamic lighting (not necessarily 24 0 hour full day night the current three settings could be retained. But the need for night and lights.

4.rolling starts as sprintcars do not have the ability to start from standing start.

5. Support for multiple saves of track deformation in one file and a option within the race/test window to select which track surface you want. This would allow for leagues running multiple heat races and feature as u could save the deformation file at the end of every session and start it from the last the the option to reset after a track grade.

6. The ability to tune in materials so the track maker can dial in how much force required to move say the cushion so the ability to have heavier dirt etc.

That's all I can think of now looking forward to the release of the sprintcar

Thanks Janaucarre,

There's alot to learn about wrs after coming from rfactor but that's alot of the joy of breaking away from rfactor. It's nice to be working on content for a Indy game.

I'm thinking I might just restart the hole file and try eliminate the errors. After watching the video previous and workin with tracked it's a rather nice program to use.

I got that sorted now it starts loading and then it freezes and crashes. Thoughts?

okay so i got the centerline in and merged it then generated the surface , i then went to load the track but told me pit lane was full? do i need to setup the whole track before i can test it

Hey Everyone ,

Track refuses to load : check the centreline

Terrained : download mx example place the terrained app into the file and this will allow terrained to Function

Wipped this up just for u




Bikes actually fall into the same catergory as in australia they comonly run on the same tracks as cars and yesi share the passion for cars and bikes id love to see sider cars even one day .

im still trying to find my way with the programing on wrs so before heading to mx bikes that and bikes arnt huge in my book so it would require alot of pull , if it had of been mx bikes instead of gp bikes as far as free bonus licence that came with wrs i probably would do bikes along side of cars but yea.

Track deformation is something ive always wanted in a speedway game, but no one has reaally ever done anything so its exciting to see , depending how it all goes id like to move stuff over to mx down the road , see how the development goes maby try bring across speedway bikes

Greetings all ,

New To forums after buying the game over the weekend with the idea of trying to bring speedway to WRS.

while im new to the formatting involved with WRS im not new when it comes to Moding after working on numerous mods for rfactor and rfactor2.

i look forward to the challenge that will be getting my head around the new file set out and such
