Hello,
I thought about a nice thing for everyone: Is it possible to send a list of different subjects when new commers create an account?
Subjects like: how to begin in gpbikes; how to add a bikes, a skin; a track; about core.exe; data mismatch and other.
I can make a compilation of differents subjects needed and post here and you will can say me if it needs another or not.
I think it can be very helpfull for new commers and old timer in this forum.
In first is it possible?
If it is, I can make the compilation quickly (all the help is welcome)

Hello,
Is there any chance to have, in futur beta of gpbikes, a more realistic thing, sorry i search my terms in french to:):
When i hear new gp motorcycle( i don't know if it was so much with old 500cc), more the bike takes angle more the rpm rise, because the point of contact between the tyres an the asphalt becomes a smaller circle than when the bike is straight.
ie it changes the transmission ratio.
Have you an idea if it will be possible to have this upgrading later?
I think it can help for braking, acceleration, and if no it can be more realistic.

Mods / 3ds max ISI tool problem: error 126

Hello,
I post here because it concerns modding and plugins and i think it's a good place for that, if don't, change it:).

I reinstalled windows 7 64.
So as I have installed the antivirus and gpbikes only, max hud didn't work, after painstaking research, max sent me the link to the microsoft visual c + + 2010 redistributable on microsoft:

Now, after a week, I launched myself (backwards) in the installation of 3ds Max 2010 32 and 64 bit . Oddly I had no problems, oh joy , oh joy , everything worked nickel until ...

I installed all the ISI tools to import rfactor tracks, 3 plugins, converter, texture and material in the plugins folder, scripts in the scripts folder and in the scripts / startup folder, I put the .gfx and extract the file coreshaders.mas in HardwareShaders folder, and now everything is where it should be.
So I start my 32-bit 3ds max and bam:

DLL Files <C:Program (86)\Autodesk\3ds Max 2010\Plugins\Converter.dlu> failed to initialize . Error code 126 - The specified module could not be found.
DLL Files <C:Program (86)\Autodesk\3ds Max 2010\Plugins\Material.dlt> failed to initialize . Error code 126 - The specified module could not be found.
DLL Files <C:Program (86)\Autodesk\3ds Max 2010\Plugins\Texture.dlt> failed to initialize . Error code 126 - The specified module could not be found.

3ds max starts anyway but impossible to import a .GMT file. So I went in search of a solution through all the forums talking about 3ds max and rfactor and somehow I found what was missing, that:

I installed it and no more problem.

It's been a little over 3 years since I turned on the same 3ds max to reinstall windows and then the problems started . If I had had no concern for the ISI tools until then it was that the first time I installed a 3ds max, there were already several games and other applications that were installed, and these included already all the necessary tools such as directx and other .dll in the installation package .

I am very, but then very , pleased to have resolved this problem and put it here to have a backup and help the person or persons to whom it could happen.

Hello, i have finally found why some of the tracks we have look closer than the real track.
The original creators use one type of width for all the track, so if you mesure the width in google earth or map you will find that every parts of a track are not the same width, and if you mesure a builded track, most if the have the same width everywhere, that´s why victoria looks very good, the creator has made it as real as possible.

I prepare this post on how to convert an rFactor track to GPBikes.
I will upload some tools.
You need:
3dsmax 2010 32 bit preferably as the 64 bit
xnview or= program to convert .dds to .tga
GMT2 importer for 3dsmax
rftoolspublic v2 contains MAS explorer(textures (dds) and 3d object(GMT)) and plugins for 3dsmax

Hello,
I have tried many possibilities for having a good setting with my g25, but i feel strange things.
On spa, from the pits to the S i don't feel resistance/feedback or just a little, from there to the next S i feel very more feedback, after that in the downhill and right turn i don't feel no more like no more feedback, really.
I have tried with 180 degrees, 270, 360, force at max, force in g25 parameters at max and 125 and 100%. Ive tried the wizard to but nothing changes.
Have you an idea about how to good parameter?

Hello,
I thought about all my Work In Progress tracks and an idea came to me.
I think many things can be make with little skills, so the work on a track could be distributed to several people.
The modeling, more skills than other.
The texturing (asphalt, skids, grass, white lines (startline, pit in/out lines, walls, fences), little skills to do.
The cameras, little skills.
The marshalls, little skills.
The datas (start/finish line, starting grid, pitlines (in and out), pitplaces and paneling along pitwall), little skills.
The centerline and surface mapping, little skills.
And finally the things who everyone here principaly do with the game, testing all ingame (timelaps, timeparts, lights (start, pit), glitches of textures), little skills but patience.

If some are interested to help me, and the community of course, i will add tutorial videos for each parts describe uphere.
Some tutorial are already here in the forum, i have one or two on the french forum which i can perhaps translate. I can make a thread with all in one.

this night i have reconvert Macau and smoothed because i wanted to drive on this road, and with so bumps that we can't make a lap without scare. Now i think that's ok.
Needs new cameras an new marshalls, anyone who wants to do it is welcome, thanks in advance. I have enlarged the mini curve.

Because i can convert and smooth an rfactor track in a short time, About 10 hours, i decide to make on between my other projects. Yesterday i began Navarra track, with the autorisation of the original modder Fanlebowski.
