I bought a super cheap Trustmaster Ferrari racing wheel like 8 years ago and still use for KRP and WRS. It still works perfectly! Except for the shifters, those are made from plastic and they broke after a couple of years. :P

Set the content for the next release (e.g. this or that bug fix, this or that extra content, this or that feature, etc), set a dev time and a target date, then tell us how much money you'd need: once you have enough promises, you start to collect and when the total is there, you kick off the development.

Good idea, just like a Kickstarter project. But we asked PiBoSo 100 times for a donation button and he doesn't want it... That's why I bought another GP Bikes license and a KRP license.

The downside of your idea is that PiBoSo will have much more stress to achieve what he promises. And is money the only reason why V1 is not out yet?

I don't understand why PiBoSo doesn't release an update every month. Even if it's only 1 little fix it would be amazing. Just to show that he's still working on the game and to motivate all the players/customers...

OMG, this is a post from february 2012.

A quick update about the upcoming Beta:
90% of the bugs that prevented the December release have been fixed. I'm currently working on improving the performance and adding additional features that were highlighted as missing in the last round of testing. These additional features are mainly support for gamepads (i.e. Steering help), default controller profiles (i.e. Out of the box support for G27s, Fanatec wheels, Xbox controllers with tuned Force Feedback settings etc), Server Admin support (i.e. Instant kick, ban etc) and visual helpers for rolling starts (i.e. Indicators for which lane the player is in, who you must follow, what speed to maintain etc). As much as I want to let you guys all try the Beta now, I'm sure you would also appreciate how much better the experience will be once these additional features are in place and the remaining bugs are fixed. I won't give a release date, but will say the wait will be worth it. If you thought the Blog #1 gameplay footage was good, you'll be blown away by how it looks and plays now!

We're mid 2015 now and there is still no beta available :P

This is the Greenlight page: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=250033503&searchtext=kart
Apparently it has been in development for ages and there is still no demo available. That's probably why they changed the name of the game.

As Max said, they have a very nice website and official sponsors. They also went to Gamescom to present their simulator! https://www.facebook.com/KartKraftGame/photos/pcb.10155869357140484/10155869353200484/?type=1&theater

Welcome back. XBox One pad i snot very good for GPB, but if I recall correctly you were pretty fast so that could help the others :)

MaX.

We will see... It will probably take 2-3 weeks until I get some decent lap times.

I love the work you did on the MaxHUD! The new information is cool and the rumble is awesome! :D

General Discussion / The comeback is real!
July 28, 2015, 01:41:53 PM
After 11 months without GP Bikes, WRS or KRP I am (finally?) back. I installed Windows on my mac again ESPECIALLY for GP Bikes, WRS and KRP. Maybe I'll buy MX Bikes in the future.

It's mainly because of the KRP Greenlight video that I decided to reinstall Windows. I also watched all my GP Bikes videos and I got excited again.

Now I'll be using a XBOX ONE controller instead of a PS3 controller. I wonder if I'll be faster or slower than previous year. Just tried to do a lap on Victoria and I crashes in every corner  :P

First of all I have to check what I missed in those 11 months. Probably just a couple of tracks and skins.

What's the plan:
-Play GP Bikes of course
-Play KRP and hope that it's going on Steam
-Make skins for GP Bikes and WRS
-Make short trailers/videos to promote the games even more
-Hopefully nice online sessions with some guys

See you on the track! :D

I use fraps to record my video's. At full resolution 1080p, 60fps, the movies are +- 1GB/minute. Now I found another program called !Action. Haven't tested it on GP Bikes yet but it works fine on GRID Autosport for example. Smaller files and no frame drops when I play. :D
What do you mean with "no frame drops when I play" ? FPS drops ?

When I use FRAPS I get sometimes 15-20FPS when it's a 'heavy' game. I couldn't even record GRID Autosport with FRAPS, but it works fine with Action!

Wow Nuovaic, this looks so cool! :D How many minutes can you ride with a full tank? There are some really cool pictures in that album! This one for example: http://bilder.gokartfoto.se/#!album-16-176 or this one http://bilder.gokartfoto.se/#!album-16-86 :D
I also like the picture of the safety car! http://bilder.gokartfoto.se/#!album-16-60 This looks so real! :o

Have you calibrated your controller in GP Bikes?

Wouldn't a ghost bike distract from development of important things such as  physics/netcode etc?

The code is there as KRP has a ghost ;)
