I'm trying lot of thing with my smartphone gyroscope and the software monect (who transform your phone into a game pad). So my question is how i can assign my joystick axis to the freelook, i know there is an option "joystick" in free look but i don't know it is assigned to what joystick and and i don't see any option to assign it!

Thx

Hi, every one.

I just want to share this as this could help so much newbie modder like me :

http://forum.mx-bikes.com/index.php?PHPSESSID=711f0db052c19b9f247dc147d43da909&topic=1546.0

This is for Mx bikes, so oriented in dirt bike, but can be adapted to gp bikes, at least explain you how bike ed and enged work (wich is pretty difficult due to lack of online ressource to learn it)

Hope you enjoy ! :)

Hi everyone,

i'm starting, and learning in the same time, to mod a bike for gp bikes. As i think everyone do, i start by my own bike (i think it's best to realy fine tune the physics etc, as i ride this bike in real life).

I'm now on the modeling phase ( i took on model on the net wich is a 2006 model as a base) but my own is a 1996's one, with good old carburetor :) so i just keep the little parts (engine, frame, light etc)  and re model almost all major parts. i'm still at a very high polycount (because the net model is not modeled for game at all). hopefully i'm working with c4d and Zbrush and his revolutionaly Zremesher tool.

This is my real bike :

this is the model i found on the net :

And the remodeled one (still in WIP) :

one thing i dont really understand is the 1st person view model. Do i Have to make a completely separate model ? if so, wich part did i need to model for the 1st person view.

Thanx

Bikes / Help me to start moding bikes
April 27, 2017, 11:53:58 AM
Hi, everyone.

I'm a moto GP fan, of course a Gpbikes fan, and a 3D Artist in real life. I would love to mod bikes (and track later) for the community. I'm not a develloper at all (juste some test in UE 4  and using template and some basic flash skill) so my question is for Gp Bikes, after i finished modeling and texturing the bike in my 3d software :

- i export in wich format for gp bike ?
- wich software to use to do the bike physics ?
- do i need lot of coding ?
- is it doable for a designer (not develloper at all) to mod bike from A-Z for gpbikes ?

Thanx

Hi,

Try to race this sunday after installing Beta 11b,  but every time i try to join a server i got a core.exe

What i did :

- Reinstalling (renaming the old folder, deleting the Piboso folder in document, then reinstalling) and then add bike, paint etc
- Reinstalling without any bike, any plugin or any paint.

in the 2 case, i always got each time a core when trying to join any server.

No problem when testing offline.

Thx

February 12, 2017, 01:17:37 PM
Hi all, i'm trying to play on line, i see a server (in the web stat list) which has 4 players, but when i connect from gp bikes, i cannot see the server in question, i double check i have the track and the bike but i cannot see the server in gp bikes, just in my web browser.
The server in question is : kuroitori jp

Any idea ?

Hi there, i'm new here, i bought gp bikes for about 1 and half a mounth, i played 2 times with gamepad and notice that it's just too realistic (physics) to be played with joystick, i've searched for bike controller in the web and appart some custom made(too expensive for me)  and the truthmaster shit one (that is no longer on sale) it simply doesn't exist, so the only way was to make it my self.

I've copied the AI System (double dragon) for the pedal. Mine looks prety ugly, no 3d print here but it works well, and it's the only thing that matters to me.

Tested it this WE and it is thousand more precise and fun than gamepad.
